Dear little sister,
I want you to grow strong.
Drink up all your milk now,
I'll pray that you live long.
Doctor says you probably
Won't live as long as me
But what does Science know?
Life isn't one, two, three
Just continue to light the world
With your sweet and dear smile
Don't let people hurt you
You know you've your own style.
You may not be as glamorous
Nor pretty to the world.
But dear sister, God knows
That you're our favourite girl.
Your laugh lights up the darkness
At times we need the most.
Do you know how many times
You saved me from times too close?
And when you scramble to your feet
When society says you're unable,
It always gives me some hope
That we're all beyond our labels.
You're a miracle: my dreams come true
And I'm glad you're in my family
So, simmer down and do not cry;
Just sit here, don't you worry
You're my dear little sister
And even when I'm gone,
You'll always be a hero
The reason I bear on.
