"We are about a thousand vampires left."

Liam walked around the chair I was sitting on and he looked at me seriously. "And with you, we will increase the number, because we have a lead."

Harry stood on the other side of the room and he watched me closely. He had a finger to his lips and he looked thoughtful at us. Liam cleared his throat so that I wouldn't blindly staring at that green-eyed man.

"And there's none of us who's your future husband."

I frowned.

"And how do you know that?"

Liam laughed a little bit.

"It's written that he'll be strong, have power like no other to have and he'll get your life to change. Through him, we will create an army, and through you we will create patience. Together it will be something great."

Then he gave me the heavy book. I gasped.

"What?"

He laughed a little bit.

"I want you to try to read it every day." He stood right in front of me. "It's like a bible but a bit more real. It's not fancy."

I looked coldly at him.

"And who says I want to read?"

He laughed a little bit.

"Sally, you're compelled." he hissed cold. "Soon it will be full moon and you should be ready that night. We will make sure that everything is done in the best way and your transition to your future will be secured."

I snorted. I browsed a bit in the book. Everything was hand-written and it was hard for me to even interpret one word. Liam leaned slightly toward me and he smiled awry.

"Give the book a chance."

I looked over at Harry. He smiled a little bit as if he were amused by me. I looked at Liam again.

"I haven't said yes yet?"

He laughed a little bit.

"Yeah you have, but you're not aware of it. You allow us to control you but you don't know if you follow us or not and you do follow us."

I frowned.

"Can you talk in plain language?"

He nodded.

"If you had hesitated and wanted to say no, would you have done two things. Either you had said that you choose to become a blood donor, or you would have tried to escape."

I blushed a little bit.

"I walked over to the gate a day ago?"

He nodded.

"But you chose to stay on our side of the wall?"

I snorted.

"Yes, a girl warned me."

Liam nodded without showing that he was surprised.

"I know."

I swallowed.

"You know?"

He laughed again.

"Sally, it's big things as you don't know. We know everything before it happens and we can predict some things as you people are doing or chose to do. We see patterns and we see differences."

I sighed.

"But did you know that she would warn me?"

He put his head askew.
