Hold a flat dollar up...and ask your friend to get ready to catch it using the thumb and index finger at midpoint...
Well here's the thing...
It's almost impossible to do it because the brain processes it and primes the fingers to move it would have moved too far....
So yes the speed of gravity may be too fast for your brain to handle..
