Mia Harper learned quickly that no one was perfect. she knew for a fact that she wasn't perfect, she had too many flaws to even possibly consider herself perfect. She knew she wasn't going to get that happily ever after, she wasn't raised to believe she would get that happily ever after. She knew nobody would stick around to discover all of her flaws, surely they would turn away after one or two. She couldn't say she would blame them.
Mia had also learned quickly that the world wasn't perfect. There were flaws in everything around her and there was always something that could be improved. Things went wrong more often than they went right, and the world would continue to rotate no matter what. They world didn't focus on a single person, no one would truly focus on a single person.
She wanted that happily ever after, even though she knew she wouldn't get it. Life was full of flaws and Mia knew she would never be accepted for all of them.
