15. WE WATCHED X-MEN

Dear Ashton,

You don't know just how happy I was to see that you were calling me for the first time. I quickly picked up and I remembered the way my voice cracked when I answered your call, hoping that you wouldn't mind that minor detail much. I felt the elephants run wild inside my stomach when you chuckled on the other line, then proceeded to invite me to watch the new X-Men movie today. I didn't really know why you decided to invite me, of all people, since you had a huge circle of friends who were all probably even more fun to be with than I was. I wasn't even that interesting either. But even then, you still invited me to watch a movie with you and honestly, that made my day.

And once we met up at the theater and entered the movie room, I couldn't relax at all. I had to survive sitting right beside you for two hours, our arms brushing every now and then with you constantly leaning in to give me an input regarding the movie and its story. I couldn't even concentrate on the movie at all, all I could about was you.

I'm actually starting to hate the effect you have on me.
