"Emma, you are going to have to tell me what is going on with you sometime!" Killian shouted as Emma stormed off into her room. He sighed and threw his bag down by the door and went into the kitchen.

"What was that about?" Elsa asked.

"I have no bloody clue. She was fine this morning, but after she came back from lunch, she has been acting weird."

"Let me give you some advice. Women are complicated. One minute we want chocolate and the next we want flowers. Men have to get enough brains to know that we don't want either. We are implying that he gets us chocolate flowers. Do you understand?"

"No."

She sighed, "Emma wants you to talk to her about how she is feeling. Even if she says no."

He nodded and ran upstairs. Killian first went into his room and cleaned it up a bit, before going to Emma's door. He knocked on it and pushed it open. "Swan? I want to talk." Ruby and Mary Margaret were at volleyball practice and Will and Victor were watching television downstairs. They would be alone and have privacy.

"No, you want me to talk."

"Actually, I don't. I want to tell you that you can tell me anything. No matter what it is or how extreme. Whether you just want to rant to me about something or confess your feelings. I'm here for you."

Emma clenched her eyes shut as he turned to leave. "It was Zelena." He turned around and held out his hand for her to take. She placed it in his and he led her to his room. She sat down on the bed and reveled in the fact that the entire room smelled like him. She loved it. "She said some things about you and me, and it got to me," she explained.

"What did she say?"

Emma let out a shaky breath, and Killian wrapped his arm around her. "She said I shouldn't allow myself to have feelings for you. That I would only break your heart, and that I wouldn't amount to anything." A tear slipped from her eye. "I don't even know how I feel."

"Emma, you can't have feelings for me." She sat up and looked at him. "I'm bad news. Nothing but trouble. I wouldn't be good for you."

"I don't want to have feelings for you. I've only known you for three days and you are already having this effect on me. I haven't felt like this since my first boyfriend, and he ended up breaking my heart. I don't want another heartbreak. And I can't if you are the one who caused it. You are in the next room over, and no matter what we did, we would always see each other."

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I knew things were going to change as soon as you walked into this bloody house."

Emma stood up and went over to the door. "Look, I'll leave. I'll run away and you can find some girl that is good enough for you. One that you can love. A girl that won't break your heart." She opened the door but Killian ran over and slammed it shut, pinning all of his body weight onto it.

"That girl is you, Emma."

"I've known you for three days! You don't even know me!"

"Then let's go out on a date. Let's get to know each other."

"So all of a sudden you aren't a problem for me?"

"Maybe you can help me turn that around?"

She sighed. "What if it doesn't work out? We live in the same house together."

"Then I guess we are just gonna have to hope that it works out," Killian said with a small smile.

"I don't have a lot of hope."

His smile slowly faded. "Having hope is a very powerful thing."

Emma jiggled the doorknob and tried to open the door. She had the urge to run, and she knew that he could sense it. That's why he hadn't moved yet. "Let me out."

"No." She looked up into his beautiful blue eyes. He didn't want her to leave.

"One date, Jones. That's all you're getting."

"And what if it leads to something more?"

"What Zelena said is a warning. If we let it grow to something more, it will be awkward for not only us, but for everyone around us too."

"That's not a good enough answer." He pinned her against the door and held her there by his waist. She could feel his hot breath on her skin. He was so close, she could smell his cologne. "Fix me."

"What if I don't want you fixed?" She asked almost breathlessly. "What if I like you exactly the way you are?"

A smile broke out on his face. "You just admitted that you want me." She blushed and looked down. He laughed and kissed her cheek. "If you need clothes for our date on Friday, tell Elsa. She'll take you to get something." Killian pulled away. "Stay as long as you'd like, or you can join me downstairs for a little tv."

Emma took a deep breath as soon as the door shut. She sat back down on his bed and fell onto the pillows. She looked around the room and saw posters of bands that he liked, hung up on the wall. There was a closet and an open door which she guessed was his own bathroom. There was a desk in the corner of the room with a lamp on top. A small cup held pencils and highlighters. She stood up from the bed and went over to the desk and saw a piece of paper on it. She picked it up, and flipped it over. She gasped as she saw an outline of two people. There wasn't much detail, but from what was already there, she knew that the finished product would be amazing. She turned it over and placed it back down on the desk, and made her way downstairs where Killian was sitting with Will watching a cartoon.
