The school called Liam Monday morning. He couldn't understand why the drugs would be found in Emma's desk in her home room class. As far as he knew, Emma wasn't doing drugs. She had never shown any signs that she was using. After school, her and Killian got home first. They skipped through the door, as happy as can be. Liam knew that she was finally in a place where she was safe and loved. He knew she wouldn't take advantage of that, therefore, the drugs couldn't be hers.

"Emma, can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked. Her and Killian froze. She let go of his hand, and Liam could see the scared and worried look on her face.

"It's okay," Killian reassured her. He grabbed her bag and took it upstairs with him.

"Sure. What's up?" She asked as they walked into the kitchen.

"The school called and said that the drugs were found in your desk," he started.

He could see the fear on her face. "No, Liam, I didn't have them!"

"Then how did they end up there?"

"I don't know! You have to believe me. I don't even know where to find drugs. I'm only friends with Killian's friends at school, and those are the only people I talk to."

"I know the signs of someone using drugs. They are tired, but also hyper. Their eyes are red and they are distant. You've never showed any of those signs, so I know you aren't using them. I believe you. But I still want to know how they ended up there." Emma remained quiet. She didn't know what to say. "You better get started on your homework," he said and disappeared into his office. Her heart was racing inside her chest. She went up to Killian's room, and he was pacing the room, biting his nails. His head darted up when the door opened.

"What did he say?" He asked.

"The drugs were found in my desk," she spoke quietly. "Do you think Zelena could have put them there?"

"It's quite possible." He led her to the bed and she sat down on his lap. "What else did Liam say?"

"I told him that it wasn't me, and he believed me."

"That's great news!"

"But the fact that he even thought about me is what scares me, Killian." She stood up and gripped her hair in her hands. "I was so close to being kicked out of here. What if something worse like this happens, and then Liam really does think it was me? I'll have to leave! I'll have to leave you, and I can't do that."

Killian stood up and placed his hand on her cheek. She stopped pacing and looked into his eyes. "I won't let you leave. If you do, I'll leave too. I'm going to be with you, Swan, through it all."

"But you'd be ruining your whole life because of me."

"I won't be ruining anything." He brought his lips to hers and she stopped shaking. Emma calmed down in his arms and he picked her up and placed her on the bed. "I love you, Emma." She froze in shock. He sat up and she came up with him. "You don't have to say anything. You don't have to say that you love me back. It's just, I've never felt like this about someone before. I want to be with you all the time and be the one that makes you happy. I want to protect you and kill whoever hurts you."

Tears welled in her eyes. She knew how she felt. She knew she loved Killian too, but she also knew that she will be transferred out of the Jones home. Sooner or later. Instead of telling him how she felt, she kissed him deeply. He grunted in surprise but immediately responded when he knew what was going on. Emma wrapped her arms around his neck, and buried her hand in his hair. She tugged on it gently and he groaned. "I know," she whispered as he moved down her neck and jaw.

He pulled away and moved away from her. Killian cleared his throat. "Apologies, Swan. I don't know what came over me."

"It's okay." She stood up from the bed and grabbed her book bag. "I should get started on my homework anyway."

"Of course. I should too. I'll see you in an hour?"

"Yeah," She whispered and left the room. She leaned against the door trying to catch her breath. "I'm going to miss you."

Ruby came into the bedroom that she shared with Emma and Mary Margaret and sat on Emma's bed. Emma looked up and saw her with a serious look on her face. "I heard about the drugs," Ruby whispered.

"They're not mine!" Emma yelled.

"Relax, Em. I'm not saying they are."

"Then everyone needs to stop bringing it up." Emma returned to her homework while Ruby went downstairs to help with dinner.

As promised, an hour later, Killian was knocking on Emma's bedroom door. It was just about time for dinner, so he was going to escort her down. She opened the door and grabbed his hand, squeezing it tightly.

"Relax, love. No one's going anywhere," he told her. Instead of replying, she kissed his cheek and they walked to the dining room.

They took the last two seats and began to eat. Emma barely said a word. She was too wrapped up in her thoughts. After the dining table was cleared off, she ran up to her room and packed the things that she had brought out, such as the makeup that she had and her toothbrush and toothpaste. She even had some money saved from the last foster home that she ran from. After everyone was asleep, Emma snuck downstairs with her duffel bag and backpack. She placed them by the door and went into the kitchen, and grabbed a few pieces of fruit to put in her bag. She grabbed candy bars and a few bottles of water too. She put everything in her bag and tiptoed up to Killian's room. The door opened and she saw him laying on his bed, sleeping peacefully. She put her notebook beside his head on the pillow and kissed his forehead. She brushed his hair out of his face and he sighed happily.

"I love you too, Killian, but I can't stay here anymore."
