"Emma, Emma, wake up!" Killian said from beside her, slightly shaking her awake. She groaned and reached back to smack whoever was waking her up. "No violence."

"Let me sleep," she whined and tugged the blankets up over her shoulders.

"No, we have to get up. I have a fun activity planned for us today. You're going to love it."

"Does it involve staying in the bed with you? Cause if it does, I would not be complaining."

He chuckled. "Sadly not. It involves us up high in the sky."

Emma rolled over onto her back and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "What are we doing today?"

"Get dressed and come downstairs, then after breakfast you'll find out." He kissed her lips and quickly got out of bed, running out of the room in nothing but his boxers.

Emma giggled and found her underwear and his shirt from last night. She put them on and went downstairs where he was in front of the stove. She bit her lip and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him from behind. She put her face in his neck and inhaled his scent. "Good morning."

"A good morning it is," he whispered huskily. "I am trying to cook here, and with you on my back, distracting me like you are does not make it easier."

"Oh, I'm sorry." But she didn't sound sorry. She went over to the other side of the counter and he groaned. "I guess it will be easier if you can see me."

Killian groaned when he saw her. "No, no, I think it would be easier if you were touching me again, you bloody siren."

Emma giggled and leaned forward. "Last night was amazing."

"I didn't hurt you, did I?"

"No. It was anything but pain."

He smirked. "Glad to hear it. But, you look adorable in my clothes."

Emma looked down and blushed when she remembered she was wearing his t-shirt. "Nah."

"Yes, you do. But I prefer it if you weren't wearing anything at all." He cocked his eyebrow as another smirk formed on his face.

She rolled her eyes and grabbed her phone from upstairs to look at more apartment listings. She didn't want to tell Killian until she had found a place. As she scrolled through, Killian continued to cook breakfast. He made her eggs, bacon, and toast. He loved the way her eyebrows were furrowed with concentration, even if he didn't know what she was doing. It was still adorable nonetheless. He placed the plate in front of her and she finally looked up from her phone. A smile spread across her face.

"Thanks, Killian. It looks delicious."

"I make the best eggs in the whole world," he said, taking a bite of his own. Emma giggled and went back to looking at apartment listings.

After they ate, they both got dressed and got in Killian's car. Emma didn't recognize where they were going, but one glance at him told her that he knew exactly where they were at. She didn't ask questions, afraid that it would annoy him, so instead, she stayed silent and just stared out the window. They pulled up to a field. A single concrete building was there with a giant garage door. On the front was an image of a hot air balloon, and Emma gasped. She didn't wait for Killian to help her out of the car before she got out herself and jumped up and down excitedly. It brought a smile to Killian's face and laughs to escape his mouth.

"No way! We're going on a hot air balloon ride?" She asked excitedly.

"Yup. I thought you could use the adventure," he said.

"This is amazing! I can't wait!"

He chuckled and they walked inside. "Hey, Frank."

"Killian, it's been a while, mate," the man said in an Australian accent. "You want your balloon?"

"Yes please."

"Who's the lovely lady?"

"A... Friend. I wanted to show her what it was like in the sky."

"You'll be in safe hands, miss. Old Jonsey boy has been at this for a year and a half, and he's only crashed one time."

Emma looked up at Killian in shock. "You crashed?"

"It was one bloody time! Let's drop it. Besides, I paid the damage, plus I bought a balloon of my own."

"Yes, you did. Now, go ahead. I'll lift the hatch and you can go out with your balloon," Frank said and walked to the back. Killian and Emma followed.

Killian got the balloon outside and onto the field. He jumped up first and checked the basket while Emma looked at it. It was a huge balloon. Bigger than most of the other ones inside. But, it was green and blue. There were some specks of red and yellow too. She wondered why he had picked all of the colors. When she looked back down to him, Killian had a smirk on his face.

"You ready?" He asked, holding his hand out for her.

"Yeah." She grabbed it and he pulled her up into the basket. He pulled some ropes and then they were getting higher and higher in the sky. "Wow."

"I know, right? I come up here all the time. Since I have my own balloon, I don't have to pay for rentals."

She turned to him and smiled. "What made you pick the colors?"

"Us of course. Green for your eyes, blue for mine. I recently had the yellow and red added. As soon as you got here and said you would be staying. Yellow for your car and red for your jackets."

Emma stepped over to him and hugged him. "You're so sweet," she whispered.

Killian tilted her head up and kissed her gently. "As are you."

"The view is amazing."

'I have my view right in front of me,' he thought as he looked down at her. "Aye, love. It is. Something that I'll never get used too."
