Somehow, I made it out of the hospital and into the car. I distantly heard Gabe calling after me, but I ignored him. I pulled out of the parking lot and starting driving, going well above the speed limit. How. Why?
Mikey had things against me know. He could blackmail me. I couldn't let him tell anyone what he knew. But I would have to talk to him, face to face. I couldn't do that. Plus, he was in the hospital. Gabe made it clear that this was only a one time thing, that he could get in trouble for letting me into a room that was family only. I did seriously owe him. I should also tell him to not tell anyone.
So many secrets.
