"Aaauugguusst!!" I sung walking in the bedroom.

"Wassup beybeh?"

I climbed onto the bed, straddling him. He locked his phone giving me his undivided attention.

"Nothing." I rubbed his chest, smiling.

"Hell nah. Wad chu want?" He grabbed my hands.

"Nothing." I squealed

"Yah think a nigga believe yah?" He squinted his eyes. "Ni' tell me."

"Okay," I sighed " I got some good news and I got some bad news." I got off him sitting beside him.

"Good news first."

Waiting for a second, he looked at me with anticipation.

"I'm--pregnant." I smiled nervously

"Don't play wit a nigga." He smiled

"I'm not playin' baby." I shook my head.

"Oh shit." He put my his hand on my stomach "We gotta call everyone." he grabbed his phone.

"Wait" I grabbed his phone out his hand "bad news"

"Wad?" The same knot in my stomach came back from earlier.

"I don't want no one to know yet."

"And why not?" He asked in confusion.

"Um--ion know how long imma be carrying it." I looked at him worried.

"Wad da fuck yah trynna say? Yah gettin' an abortion?" He looked at me pissed.

"Hell no!!" I looked at him like he had me fucked up. "It's some shit I haven't told you. When Rick raped me, he ripped it" I pointed down, not wanting to say it.

His face soften, grabbing me he cradled me.

"August they said--they said I would never be able to have kids." I broke down crying.
