I looked out the window of the car as my mom kept rambling on about how perfect California was "you'll make new friends Chase, find that special girl, maybe even be put as Captain of the basketball team."
I sighed as I looked down at my hands.

I grabbed my jacket and belt from the basket as I exited the metal detectors. I slipped them back on.
"Come on chase" my mom grabbed my forearm as she turned me around. I sighed as I started walking towards the gate.
"Chase!" I turned around and saw a frantic Chris running towards me. He wrapped his arms around me as he picked me slightly off my feet. I wrapped my arms around his torso.
I breathed in the smell of his sweet cologne. He pulled away as he crashed his lips on to mine.
I smiled as I cupped his face into my hands. A man came up behind him as they grabbed him by his arm "sir you have to come with us"
They pulled me away as my mom started calling for me "I won't give up on us!" Chris yelled as they dragged him away "Chris!" I cried out as they dragged him out and dragged me towards the Gate.
