Chapter 43

The day after Dream Concert, they had a fanmeet. Of course, Wonwoo was represented. Not only by his picture but this time they brought along a soft toy animal. They put a pair of round spectacles on the animal. It was the same one that Wonwoo wore during the Pretty U performances.

During the fanmeet, I would help the boys incase they needed help putting on something given by the fans or put their gifts in a bag labelled according to their names. They also broadcasted the fanmeet on V live. Once it had ended, they were still quite happy as there weren't much events after this, leaving them more free time. Instead of heading back to the dorm after they had changed to their normal clothes, the vocal unit went straight to the hospital. Since only a certain amount of people were allowed at once, they decided to visit Wonwoo according to their units. Vocal first, performance and then hip hop. It had been some time since we had been to the dorm so Hoshi and I tagged along with the rest to the dorm. We were curious of the dorm's condition. They had shifted to a bigger one before the promotion period so I wanted to see what it was like since only Hoshi has seen it once before.

"Sorry, it is quite messy from the busy schedule we had," Seungcheol gave a warning and we nodded.

He unlocked the door and we entered. I looked around in awe. It was definitely much bigger, more suitable for a 13-member group. (or 12 in this case since Hoshi stays with me) They told me they now had 3 toilets so it was faster and more convenient during shower time.

"And this is the room you are supposedly assigned to. Minghao, Vernon, Jun, Wonwoo and I share this room too," Dino headed to the room at the end of the hallway.

Dino opened the door to a room with 3 bunk beds. Only some of them were made and neat. The rest were messy. One of the top bunk beds only had a mattress. They explained that if anyone were to come to the dorm, they would just throw an extra pillow and blanket on the top bunk. Since we were hiding our relationship and the fact that Hoshi was staying with me, they needed to pretend that Hoshi lived with them. There were a few of Hoshi's clothes incase anything happened.

The boys either rested or played video games. I went to check out the kitchen. It was quite clean except the sink which was filled with dishes. I had this instinct to clean up anything messy at once or I would get frustrated. I tied my hair up in a ponytail and got to washing the dishes. I heard footsteps nearing the kitchen.

"Crystal, I don't think you should-" I interrupted the voice without looking at who it was.

"It's ok, I am used to doing the housework. Let me help you guys clean up a little. You must be tired," I remained stubborn.

The person came closer and seemingly towered over me from behind. He offered to at least help with half of them and I let him anyways. I looked to my right to see Mingyu. He reached over to grab a sponge and washed the dishes with me. Once we were done, we washed our hands and high-fived each other. I remembered seeing the room that Dino showed me being messy.

"Do you guys mind if I help you clean your room? I just want to and no, I won't touch your closet," I asked the ones in the room with the most roommates.

"You don't have too, but if you insist," the8 replied while the rest were either sleeping or nodding in agreement.

"Thanks, Crystal!" they thanked me.

"Ah, it's nothing," I replied.

There was not much to clean other than some clothes scattered on the floor and messy beds. Mingyu wanted to clean with me too since he often did this and he was more familiar with which clothes belonged to who.

We gathered the clothes scattered into a pile. I sat on the floor with him and went through them. We folded them and stacked them according to whose it was. I raised a black t-shirt.
