"You looked so stunning in that 3rd dress. I bet you'd look much more pretty on the wedding day," he complimented me.

"Yeah, I think so too," I agreed with him.

We confirmed the wedding dress and suit that we were going to order. Then, they took our measurements. Once they were done, Hoshi went over to settle the payment. He told me to wait for him in the car.

On the way to the car, I heard someone shout. I turned my head to my right to see 3 teenage girls. They had intimidating looks on their faces as they approached me.

"You're Park Crystal, Hoshi's soon-to-be wife, right?" one of them asked cautiously.

I slowly nodded.

"Listen, here. Hoshi is ours, ok? You think you are so deserving of him but you're not. Why would he pick someone like you anyways? You're not even decent-looking," she hissed.

They looked me up and down with judgemental looks. I felt slightly intimidated by them. They seemed to stare daggers at me. They continued throwing insults at me, making me feel smaller and smaller. Or so they thought.

"Ok, so basically you are saying I am ugly, unworthy and dumb. What's your point?" I shot a question at them.

They were rendered speechless for a second before one of them tried to fight back. She ranted about how Hoshi 'belonged to Carats' and he was somehow 'too young to be married'. I waved her off as stating an opinion and that they should learn to respect Hoshi's privacy and his decisions just like how a fan should be.

"You are such a disgrace. Hoshi would be embarrassed to have a fan like you who does not respect him," I told her off.

Without hesitation, she swung her hand at me and a sharp pain lingered on my cheek. Right after that, they tackled me and wanted to tear me to shreds. I managed to knock one of them off and then the other without using much force. The last one, who was also the one who approached me first, was a tough one. She clung onto my hair and pulled it. I did a small prayer before kicking her away. She released my hair and stumbled backward, holding her stomach. Just when I did, Hoshi came out of the shop and saw her on the floor. The girl noticed him and immediately started spouting lies.

"How dare you kick me?! You are so rude. I just wanted to congratulate you!" she cried out.

My eyes widened. Woah, were fans really this capable? I looked at Hoshi, my eyes pleading that I was innocent. He smiled at me. He probably saw it all.

"I assume you're a fan of mine?" he asked the girl on the floor.

He helped her up and she nodded, talking about how she and her friends had been supporting Seventeen for some time. She then mentioned her fansite.

"Oh, that is cool. You know what wouldn't be cool? Hurting my fiancee," his tone got gradually sharper throughout his statement.

He stared her down but not too harshly as she was still a fan. The 3 girls held back every inch of their body from showing they were guilty. Nonetheless, it was obvious.

"Look, I saw it all. I know you're a fan but I have said in the press conference, telling you all to take care of her and support my decision for marrying. You can't get anything from hurting her. No matter what, I will still marry her. You can say anything to her even to the point she breaks down but I will still be by her side, supporting her and building her back up again. I have seen the mean comments on her social media posts. Apparently, your fansite's name was amongst those who insulted her. If I see your username pop up in her comment section, insulting her one more time, I will get Pledis to blacklist your fansite. A true fan would support me and my decisions. If you can't see that, then I would be ashamed to call people like you, my fans," he told her off.

Throughout his speech, I noticed the changes on the girls' faces. The looks in their eyes softened. Their defensive state melted and formed their exposed guilty selves. One of them even teared up, realizing how horrible she had been to me. I assumed she was part of those insulting me online. Once he was done, they had a short discussion, pushing each other. They stood in a line in front of me and bowed.

"Sorry, miss. We feel awful for what we have done," the first person on the left apologized first.

"I am sorry, too. We were selfish people. Please forgive us," the one beside her spoke as well.

"I too, am sorry for what we have done to you. We will be more mindful and we will support your relationship with Hoshi," the last one, who teared up,  asked for forgiveness as well.

Honestly, I was touched to see them apologizing when Hoshi never told them too. It was automatic and natural of them to apologize. I smiled at them.

"It's ok. I forgive you. Just don't do it again. Even to other people. Don't worry, I will take care of Hoshi. I promise," I replied to their apologies.

They smiled back and took note of my promise. They bid us farewell and went off. Once they were out of sight, I shot a slightly surprised look at Hoshi.

"Y-you saw the comments?" I asked.

I had to say, I was affected by the comments but I never told him about it. Not even once. i just kept it in and tried to fight it.

"You were detached and subtly more silent after I announced our marriage. Your phone was exploding with notifications one night while you were in the shower so I checked your phone to see what the fuss was about. That was when I saw the comments and messages from hateful people. You can't hide from me. I can read you like a book. Others may not notice but I definitely do," he explained.

I was about to apologize for not being upfront about it but he cut me off with a tight hug and a kiss on my forehead.

"Don't even feel bad. This is life. There will always be opposing forces. You just need to overcome that force and you'll be fine. If you receive insults, ignore them. They have no idea what we've been through. Only we know ourselves so only we deserve to be the judge of ourselves. Don't let other people tell you how to be. I love you, ok. Just stay strong, I am getting these insults as well but I'm enduring," he let out words of motivation.

Tears welled up in my eyes at how moving he could be.

"T-thanks. I love you too," I tightened my grip on him.

2 days later~

My mother informed me that she was going to visit me today. It was on short notice but I did not mind anyways. She specifically wanted to see both me and Hoshi. Thankfully, Hoshi had an off-day today. He helped me out with cleaning up the house.

Right on time, the doorbell rang. I instantly knew my mother was at the door. I jogged to the door and opened with a wide smile.

"Hi mom- W-who w-what are you d-doing here?!"
