Maya's Pov
I walked into the Great Hall and sat down as the sorting went on. I slightly smiled at the young first years they looked so innocent and full of life....That's when I remembered my sorting..
~FlashBack~ I stood in the long line of first years and continued to wait for my name to be called..until I heard Mcgonagall say "Maya Scarlett Knight" I sighed and walked towards the sorting hat. I sat down and the hat went over my eyes which caused a few students to giggle. "Mmh, very tricky, very tricky indeed........you are indeed wise enough for Ravenclaw,but much to sarcastic and witty for Hufflepuff, but you are indeed very loyal....brave very brave indeed just like your mother..but cunning like your father..better be...GRYFFINDOR!!!!!!!!"
Back to The Present!
I looked around to see if anyone was around and Great Hall unseen hopefully...I walked towards the Gryffindor common room. The lady already recognized me and opened. I looked around until I heard The painting open.. I turned around only to find James, Peter, and Sirius with the biggest smirks on their faces...I walked backwards slowly trying to get to the staircase of the Girl's dorm...James strutted towards me and sneered "What could worthless little Knight be doing in here? what do you think Sirius..?" Sirius chuckled " Maybe she wanted to listen to us tell her exactly what she is again..." My eyes widened Sirius had an evil grin on his face...James had a smirk on his face.. "Well let's see Sirius" replied James "Looks like Knight got fatter over the summer and if you can believe it even uglier than she already was!" He laughed. I just stood there until I got pushed full force onto the floor and then I felt a kick in the stomach. Then Sirius got on top of me and began throwing punches left and right. I just layed there like a worthless rag doll.. Not knowing what to do... Soon they stopped and left to the Great Hall I ran to the Girl's Dorms and slid down my dorm room completely breaking down
