“Oh and Emmaline.”
Turning around thinking that he was going to add another safety demand,
“Don’t tell anyone that you’re a descendant of the hunter wolves and that you’re a pure blood. Okay?”
Giving him a confused look I nodded my head and said okay, and left for the woods. Before I entered the woods I turned back to look at Hunters bedroom window and saw him standing there staring right back at me. I gave him a blank look, not revealing the tiniest bit of emotion I was feeling, and sprinted for the forest. Once I was in the safety of the woods I undressed, tied the moonbag with my clothes around my neck loose enough to fit when I changed and shifted into my black and white wolf, and ran like I have never ran before, stopping only once to give a heartbreaking howl. One last cry for the love that never was.

Chapter 15
I watched her run into the forest, stopping only to glance back at me with the same deaden look she gave me that night in my father’s office. The same emotionless stare, like I haven’t hurt her, like she felt nothing at all, but I knew, I knew exactly what I did. I felt her pain as surely as I could feel mine. Raising my hand and placing it over my chest, I could feel my heart, the same one that now beats in tune with hers, breaking, splintering. I had to do it, for her, to save her, I had no choice,
“Forgive me Emmaline.”
Just as I said that I heard the saddest howl I had ever heard in my entire life. Placing my free hand on the cold window, I stared in the direction she ran.
“Emmaline.” I breathed out her name, and the window fogged with my breath. In time she will forgive me… she has to.
Just then, my door burst open and a really pissed off Jake was storming over towards me.
“What did you do to her?” Here we go,
“It doesn’t concern you.”
“What do you mean it doesn’t concern me? She is my blood, I am her guardian, everything about her concerns me.”
“Then why don’t you speak to her about it. We are no longer together.”
“You broke her heart you son of a bitch. I warned you. If you hurt her I’m going to kill you.”
He started walking towards me and he’s eyes flashed, a vivid green. Green! But the only color wolves’ eyes turn is yellow or blue for pure blood, unless he's a hunter wolf. No can't be, hunter wolves are supposedly extinct. I have never seen Jake turn before so this is new, I wonder if I should tell my father about this. No, this information could endanger Snow, but that would make Snow a hunter wolf as well. Interesting.
I moved into a defensive stance and faced him,
