Backstage

A week later, everyone was about to rehearse the last scene of the play. Jason was really stressed and the cast really worked their ass off. Andrei looked really passionate about the role. He spoke the lines flawlessly and his emotions was realistic. Jason couldn't help but stare at him. After that scene, the cast went for a quick break. "Okay, One more take from the top and that's it" he reminded everyone. After the break, everyone got back to position and performed with their very best. Carol was impressed. She shook hands with him and congratulated the rest of the cast. "How did you do this?" she asked. "I really wanted to be a director when I was a kid" he replied. Carol was so happy that she let everyone go home early that day. Jason went home and told his parents about the play. He was really nervous as tomorrow was the actual performance. He suddenly thought about Andrei. "He's gonna be a lifeguard and he's gonna be shirtless" he told himself. He suddenly became more excited about the play. He slept early that night and woke up late. "Shit! i'm an hour late" he told himself. He did his routine really fast and took a train. He arrived at work five minutes before the play. "Jason, where the heck have you been" said Carol. He went to the stage to do the opening remarks and sat on the first row. "That was a close call" said Carol. The curtains opened and the play finally started. "Wow! he's hot" said Carol. "I thought he was mine" Jason joked. Carol just laughed and Jason shushed her. Andrei was there on the stage. He was wearing nothing but tight speedos. He uttered his lines perfectly while Jason mouthed the words with him. When Andrei was staring at him, Jason felt as if Andre's lines were directed at him. Jason couldn't stop staring back. The play concluded and the after party started. Andrei was looking for Jason in the huge crowd that was congratulating him. Jason was getting a lot of praises from the CEO. Andre wanted to talk to him but he settled on watching him. Jason looked really happy and Andre couldn't help but stare. Andrei was really proud of him. Jason finally saw him and they both hugged. "That was great" they both said. Jason was really proud of it and he couldn't stop talking about it. Andrei was happy that good things are finally happening to Jason.
