Bai Luo Yin stood close to the edge of the building. The rough winds itched against his once smooth skin, that was now covered in dirt and dry blood. His smooth lips that ached to feel Gu Hai's were now chapped and painful to the slightest touch.

He can't recall how long it's been that he's been waiting. If he were to give an rough estimate, he would think it was fifteen hours. The sky was eerily dark, yet the sun could be noticed if it were looked for hard enough.

He could only expect it to be five am. Fifteen hours since he last saw Gu Hai. Fifteen hours since his warm embrace was enough to rock the devil himself into a sweet sleep.

Bai Luo Yin woke up in a dark room that was empty, clearly an apartment that hadn't been lived in or even cleaned for months. Dust particles covered every inch of the walls and floors, along with dirt and trash. He couldn't recall going into this apartment, but he could remember feeling ill as he climbed those steps. He could only expect he went to the apartment for shelter, but now he was without Gu Hai and couldn't help but to wonder where he was.

Questions flooded his brain as he looked at the street below him. There was still many feet of water for what seemed like miles apart, and he couldn't help but to think that there wa a chance Gu Hai was overpowered. That guy was such a strong guy, but mother nature was stronger.

"Drink this water. You will dehydrate without it." Bai Luo Yin quickly looked over. The voice was not one he recognized, but it was one he needed to hear. Being lost in his thoughts of diaster and losing Gu Hai caused his heart to feel weak. Another voice could give him strength.

Bai Luo Yin took the water bottle and put it to his lips. His hands shook, spilling the water on his shirt and to his chest. It soothed his throat and his somehow his skin.

"Thank you."

"What is your name, honey?" Bai Luo Yin glanced at the water for a moment, then back to the woman. Her face was gentle and her body small.

"Bai Luo Yin."

"Bai Luo Yin, how did you come here alone? Where is your family?"

He is somewhere above the water. He is strong. " Bai Luo Yin looked at the water again and continued to search for Gu Hai. Where was he?

"I'm sure that he is strong, Bai Luo Yin. And I am sure that you will find him. But who needs to be strong is you. Step away from the edge and come with me, I live in this apartment building and you need food. If you get dehydrated your health will decline. " Bai Luo Yin's eyes didn't break it's stare. Some how he thought that at any minute he would see Gu Hai swimming to the building.

"Thank you, but I'm not so hungry."

She put her soft hand on his shoulder, and gently looked into his eyes. She could understand Bai Luo Yin, but truthfully, he needed to take care of himself first.

"You need your rest. "

Gu Hai searched through drawers for a bandage. His knee was bleeding, leaving trails behind as he walked. As he ran up the steps in at attempt to avoid the water that was following closely behind him, he fell, and scraped his knee. Dirt was getting into the wound, giving it a look of infection.

What he knew from training was how to wrap a wound with or without a bandage. If he could not find one, he would use something he could find. A shirt perhaps. But he understood not to leave a wound exposed.

When a found a shirt, he quickly wrapped it around his knee and pulled the sleeves together into a knot. The shirt was bulky but it was a bandage.

When he the room, he started to search in other rooms for people. It seemed that he was in this building alone, which was the exact opposite of good. If there were others they could work out a plan and he could find Bai Luo Yin quicker.

And as he went through each floor, he certainly learned that the building was empty. It was evacuated, and from the looks of it, before the typhoon even started.

However that did not stop him from running up to the roof, and looking from it just as Bai Luo Yin had. He looked down at the water and wondered where he could be. Bai Luo Yin had a stubborn heart, and he was strong, but could he perhaps be above the water?

"Bai Luo Yin!" He shouted to the darkness. The voice echoed through his heart, and seemingly was only heard by his own ears. He needed Bai Luo Yin to wait for him longer. No matter where he was. Even if his body was under the water and fighting for his laugh breath, he needed him to remember.

"Yin Zi, remember, I am Gu Hai and you are my Bai Luo Yin.. and I Gu Hai vowed to be with you no matter what. If we must die we must die together. I will go to you moments before and hold you in my arms for the last time." Gu Hai's eyes scanned the water and felt such pity in his heart.
