Chapter 3

Welsh Mountains Just Got Better

"Ouch" I mumbled as I rubbed my head, I looked around and saw I was still on the plane and it had just landed.

"Are you ok? When the plane landed you hit your head in the chair in front of you" the old man seated beside me explained.

"I'm fine" I told him. I continued rubbing my head until the plane came to a full stop. I grinned forgetting about the agonising pain shooting through my head and jumped up. I stretched my arms above my head and picked up my carry ons. Slowly the people left the plane, I followed quietly as we entered the Brisbane airport. I sighed with relief as I made my way back down the stairs and into customs. I passed quickly before making my way to the baggage area. I took my 3 suitcases and awkwardly lugged them to a group of people holding a piece of paper with a name on it. I scanned the papers until I found mine. I walked through the crowd until I reached the drive.

"Hi I'm Ella. Are you the Welsh Mountain driver?" I asked sweetly.

"Sure am, I'm Paul" he replied taking two of my suitcases,

"Thanks" I said with appreciation. I followed Paul to a black 4wheel drive BMW! "Wow" I said looking amazed at the car.

"I know" he said as he loaded my cases into the boot. I took a seat in the front seat of the car while I waited and pulled out my phone. I had many texts from Aria, Sarah and Kelly. I sent a quick text to mum and dad saying the flight was good and I was on my way to the school, also I texted Aria and told her I missed her. I then quickly turned onto my my camera and took a photo of the airport before putting it on FaceBook, I added a caption of

FINALLY, I HAVE ARRIVED! :D Brisbane looks beautiful and I can't wait till I get to Welsh Mountains.

I got heaps of comments from my mum, dad and friends before I switched my phone off and looked out the window as we left the air port. I exchanged small talk with Paul, always making sure I was being polite as I wanted to make a good impression.

"Welcome to Welsh Mountains" Paul explained pulling off the road, I saw all the paddocks on either side of the driveway although it was hard to tell because there were Oak tree's canopying the driveway. Once we came to the end of the drive there was a large horse statue in the middle of a half circle,

"This place is just as stunning as I remember" I said aloud as I glanced over the buildings. From the information I gathered there were 4 sleeping dorms which were Rose, Frangipani, Orchid and Daisy. I quickly gathered myself up and stepped out of the car, once I realised I had been sitting in the car for 5 minutes straight staring at nothing particular. "Sorry" I mumbled quickly once I reached Paul.

"That's alright, now I will help you get your bags into your room then I have to go and pick another girl from the airport." He said picking up two of my bags,

"Thanks Paul" I said, really appreciating his help.

Once we had reached my room, I gave Paul a quick thanks before he left to go pick up another child. I opened the door and awkwardly lugged my 3 suitcases into the room, there was 2 bed frames with a mattress, two desks and a coffee table with a coffee machine. In my opinion the room looked dull and boring but I remembered reading in a note that we got to create our own room. 'I hope my roommate likes decorating' I thought desperately. Once I had finished unpacking I placed my suitcases under my bed and look at my desk. It was piled high with heaps of books and some notes from the school. I picked up a note and started skimming through it, it was all about the dorms and how they got there names. My reading was interrupted by the door opening and a girl walking into the room. This girl was insanely pretty with bark brown hair that fell easily into the middle of her back, she had dark brown eyes and was slightly tanned,
