"Do you always watch people sleep?" I croak out groggily feeling a pair of eyes on me. "Just when they're as cute as you," Luke hums with ease. "Lucas." I scold with a crease between my brows, opening my eyes to see him grinning.

"I'm joking. You're not cute, okay? You snore really loud and drool a lot," he bites back a giggle. "Shut up I do not," I shove him lightly.

"You're right, but I am jetlagged," he turns over on his back with a sigh. "Why didn't you tell me? I would have woken up earlier," I frown, blinking heavily. "And what would you have done? Cured my jetlag?" Luke chuckles. "No," I deadpan. "But I could have kept you company. I am used to being up all hours of the night for you, you know."

Luke's lip turns up in a small lopsided smile. "I'll keep that in mind for tonight."

"Good," I sigh, letting my eyes flutter shut. "Well don't go back to sleep now," Luke flicks the tip of my nose lightly. "Did you just flick my nose?" I open my eyes with a pout. He laughs softly. "Stay awake please." I contemplate for a second and roll my eyes. "Fine. What do you want to do?" "Mm, well, I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday..." He thinks out loud.

"Do you want to go for breakfast?" I suggest. His face screws up in distaste. "What? Does Luke Hemmings not do breakfast?" I taunt. He sends me an unimpressed look. "Don't you have breakfast here?" He shrugs.

"Cereal mostly," I hum. "What kind?" He glances at me from the corner of his eye. "Not sure, Cheerios maybe? Coco puffs if Sean hasn't finished those yet.." "Perfect." He smiles brightly and clambers out of bed like a toddler. I offer an amused chuckle and follow the giant 5 year old to the kitchen.

He wastes no time searching the cabinets for a bowl and pouring himself some cereal. I watch in endearment as he eats his bowl of Cheerios with the bowl held close to his mouth and his hair looking adorably messy.

"What?" He says with a sip of milk. "Nothing," I shrug with a grin. He frowns moving the bowl from his lips. "What?" He repeats with more of a pout in his tone. "Nothing," I insist.

This was not going to be like last time. I was not about to tell him how cute he looks eating cereal all sleepy and soft looking because that's riding a fine line between friends and whatever we were doing on tour.

We weren't going to do that anymore. At least not until his girlfriend was out of the picture.

"So what do you want to do today?" I ask instead of answering. "P," his frown deepens. "I was thinking we could walk around for a bit, I can even take you to the coffee shop I saw you naked in," I hum with a giggle. "You saw me naked in a coffee shop?" Luke cocks a brow. "Mhm. Have I never mentioned that part?" "No. Why were you looking at me naked in a coffee shop?"

"I wasn't. I was looking at Calum," I smirk mischievously with a wink. "That's not funny," his brows pull together with a slight turn down of his lips. "Don't be so touchy Lucas. Calum just naturally catches the eye. I already told you, you were the-" I stop myself. That doesn't need to be brought up again. I sigh, "It doesn't matter who I looked at first."

Luke repeats my words in a mocking tone. "Hm. Mature," I chuckle. He mumbles a lighthearted, breathy whatever and finishes off his cereal.

"If you promise to stop being such a grump, I'll take you to my favorite secret place I've never taken anyone ever," I sing. He immediately perks up at the promise. "Where is it?" "Did you miss the part where I said it was a secret?" I retort.

"It's not like I'll know where you're talking about anyway," he tries to reason. "Exactly. So it doesn't matter," I reply matter-of-fact.

"Fine. But if you murder me I'll sue," Luke threatens lightly. "How would you sue? You'd be dead you knob," I point out as he rinses out his bowl. "That's what I want you to think but really I'll still be alive and show up out of nowhere like bam. I'm suing you. And you'll be all confused and like whaaaaat."
