Venus' POV
The sun was just starting to set over the Black Lake as I snuck outside to meet Jasper.
I couldn't really be alone with him like I wanted to. Him being smart, had told me to meet him so we could have a date, away from the confines of the castle, and the gossip of the students.
Sure, we could get caught, and myself expelled, but at the risk of spending time with my boyfriend, I was willing to chance it.
I looked behind me, making sure no one was around and or following me.
I was in the clear.
When I reached the edge of the Black Lake, I noticed a clearing of trees, and the sight of Jasper sitting underneath. They shielded us from prying eyes, but gave us a breathtaking view of the sunset and glimmering lake.
I snuck up behind him, and placed my hands over his eyes. I smirked.
"Guess who?" I whispered.
He gripped my hands, an attractive smile on his face.
"Hmmm..." He pretended to think.
I gasped playfully, walking around to plop down in front of him. "You better be kidding."
Unexpectedly, his hands shot out, to grasp my waist, pulling me straight into his lap.
"Of course I'm kidding. I'd know it's you in a heartbeat."
I tried not to smile, but failed. His hand found my cheek, and our lips connected.
I situated myself so I was straddling him, my fingers threading through his hair.
He started to place kisses along my neck, and I closed my eyes. I felt his hands wander to the straps of my tank top, pulling them down my shoulders, until my black bra was exposed.
I pulled back, smirking at Jasper.
I stared at him as I pulled his shirt over his head. I ran my hands down his muscular chest, raising an eyebrow seductively.
"Underneath the moonlight sounds good to me." I purred against his ear.
I could feel his excitement underneath me. My heart raced with adrenaline, as I felt his fingers reach underneath my skirt.
His voice was husky when he spoke.
"I love you, V."

My eyes fluttered open the next morning, and I yawned. My eyes adjusted to the morning sun, and that's when I realized I was laying on Jasper's chest, and he was laying against a tree.
My eyes widened instantly.
There are no trees in a dormitory.
I shot up, rapidly tossing my clothes on, ignoring the chill of the morning air on my bare body.
I nudged Jasper roughly, and he groaned, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"What time is it?" He asked groggily.
"It's morning. As in, the next day."
His eyes widened, seeming to realize something.
"We never went back to the castle." He stated, the obviousness in his statement, making me scoff and roll my eyes.
"I hadn't noticed." I replied sarcastically.
I pulled him up from the ground, throwing his shirt at him at the same time. He put it on, and we raced up the hill, and into the castle as quietly as possible. We glanced around, noticing there weren't any students or staff milling about the corridors, just our luck.
But of course, our luck soon ran out.
As soon as we reached the dungeons, we stopped in our tracks, because there stood Professor Snape, arms crossed.
His glare sent a shiver down my spine.
He glanced between us.
I saw him take in my disheveled hair and swollen lips, and Jasper's wrinkled shirt and glazed eyes, and he instantly put two and two together.
I felt my cheeks redden in embarrassment, and suddenly my feet became very interesting.
There was silence, and it was deafening.
I knew what was to come next.
Detention. Suspension. Or worse, expulsion.
So what happened then completely surprised me.
"Breakfast will begin in ten minutes. If I were you two, I would make yourselves presentable." Snape chastised, the angry look in his eyes apparent.
He met my gaze for a split second, before turning on his heel, and walking away.
I looked at Jasper, and we both shrugged.
We wasted no time making our way back to the common room, and our separate dormitories.
Within minutes, we were out and following the crowd of students to the Great Hall.
As I sat next to Natalie, I couldn't help but wonder what the hell just happened.
