------Jade's P.O.V-----------
"Show me that your strong enough without evolving!" I yelled. I could feel Pikachu's determination to beat me. Sometimes insulating someone is the best way to bring out their potential.
"Electro ball!" Pikachu shouted. He jumped up in the air and a ball of electricity formed on his tail. He released in at me but I dodged it easily. That just made Pikachu even more determined. I smiled.
"Is that all you got!?" I teased, "My turn! Swift!" Pikachu's eyes grew big as the glowing stars hit him.
Pikachu growled, "That's Dirty! Swift always hits!" He hissed. I just stuck out my tongue at him. "Fine then...Quick attack!" Pikachu sped at me like a bullet but I just help my grown as he ran into me. His eyes grew wide. "You didn't even move an inch...."
I smirked at him, "Dark Pulse!" Pikachu got hit a flew back.
"HOW ARE YOU SO STRONG!" Pikachu yelled!
"Would you like to know." I respond.
"YES I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW!" Pikachu shouted.
I ran up to him witch caught him off guard at stepped on his tail. He yelped in pain.
"I'll make you a deal.I'll tell you when your finally able to beat me in a battle." I whispered in his ear then stepped off his tail. He feel backwards and landed on his back. "Do we have a deal?" I asked.
"Deal, I want to be stronger like you, so I can protect Ash." He said. "When Ash first got me from Oak I was a jerk to him, but then...then that flock of Spearow attacked, he almost died to protect me. But this time i'm going to protect him!" Pikachu spoke.
I smiled, "Here.Tomorrow.Sunrise.Don't be late."
He smiles back, "I won't I promise!"
