Up the stairs they scurry,
on both their feet and hands,
climbing like those small and furry.
And with the eager smiles,
they pant with heavily,
rushing upwards as juveniles.
It warms the heart,
watching them zoom,
watching them dart.
It's kinda sad, even so,
as we wonder,
"Where did all my excitement go?"
