Sam's P.O.V:

I got home and started getting dressed quickly when suddenly I heard a knock on my door.

"Who is it??" I asked in a kind of rude tone.

It was probably Romeo.

"Its your bestie!" I recognized that voice.

Melenie!

"Melenie! Come in!" I yelled quickly opening the door.

"Youre all over the internet girl!" She said showing me some pictures on her phone.

Ugh of course.

"Yeah i know. Typical paparazzis" I said.

"So youre going on a date? And you didnt tell me!? Who do you think you are??" She said playfully hitting me.

"Im so sorry! He asked me out today so i didnt have time!" I told her turning red.

"So who's the hot stud? 😉 Is he cute?"

"You dont even know! He's sooo cute and he's shy which makes him 1000 times cuter!" I yelled excitedly.

Okay maybe im exagerating.

It was only the truth.

Shy guys really get to me 😍

"Whats his name?"

"Ill tell you later okay? I dont even know if this is going serious or not"

"Deal"

*Knock, Knock*

"It must be him!" I yelled running to open the door.

"Aaah okay ill get going then!" She yelled.

We both walked to the door and something really weird happened.

"Geoffrey! What are you doing here?" Asked Melenie giving him a passionate kiss on the lips.

"Oh um.. what are you doing here Melenie?" He asked pushing her away.

"Melenie this is the guy you were talking about?" I asked her remembering she had told me about someone she was talking to.

Of course.

Theyre dating.

"Yes! Why dont we go on a double date! We can wait for your hot stud and all 4 of us can go out!" She yelled excitedly.

What am i going to do?

I mentally slapped myself.

I didnt even feel like crying.

"Let me go grab a jacket. And ill call my date to see why he's taking forever" I said pretending that Geoffrey wasnt my date!

I only had 1 idea.

This might be a stupid idea but its the only way out...

"Hey Dave?"

Okay i couldnt back out now 😤

"Hey whats up?" He answered in the sweetest voice tone.

"Do you maybe want to go get that ice cream you promised me?"

"Of course! A promise is a promise. On my way"

I walked downstairs to find Melenie eating up Geoffrey.

"Um.. my date said he's on his way! :)" I smiled.

Maybe this was for the best.

I found Dave more handsome anyways.

"Aah great! So what are we doing?" Asked Melenie as she intertwined her fingers with Geoffrey's.

I could see his worried face.

He felt bad.

That jerk

"We're getting ice cream!" I told them.
