Chapter 5

Laura's POV

We both went silent to hear everything.

We only whispered.

Me- who's that?

Ross- I don't know but let's go check from the top of the stairs.

We walk over to the top of the stairs and we see someone but I can't see who.

Suddenly I'm really feeling scared.

Me- Ross, I'm scared.

Ross- don't worry ill be here to protect you.

I give a little smile. Then I feel scared again.

Me- wait I see a face. I've never seen the person before.

All of a sudden he opens the door to a bunch of guys.

Me- they're all wearing black. With garbage bags.

????- get everything that's expensive. Actually just get everything.

Ross- oh my gawd. They're thieves.

Me- lets call the police!

We turn around and see a tall bald guy.

Guy- you're coming with me!

He grabs my arm and calls up another guy to get Ross. Suddenly I'm really scared. I'm not with Ross and they are probably gonna kill us. I wanna die with Ross.

It all goes black.

I hate being all alone. I'm a loner. I have no friends. I have no parents. Everyone hates me. I can't live like this. Might aswell just die. I don't belong anywhere. I'm different than everyone else. I'm a nerd.

I wake up to find me breathing hard and tied to a chair. Legs and arms.

A single tear rolls down my face. Then I think WHERE'S ROSS?

Me- ROSS? ROSS PLEASE! Anyone?

????- oh I see you're looking for your friend.

Me- WHERE IS HE?!?!?!?

????- he's fine. For now.

Me- what do you mean for now?

????- well he's in a room. With a killer.

Me- what!

Tears fill my eyes.

Me- why? Why are you doing all this? Why?

????- because I have nothing else to do.

Ross' POV

I wake up and see that Im sitting in a chair. Tied up. Arms and legs.

Then I see a lady walk into the room. She's pretty but nothing compares to Laura.

She's wearing a trench coat.

Lady- hi I'm Sevina.

She's walking up to me putting her hand out.

Me- I'm Ross.

I'm kinda getting freaked out. I have no idea who she is and why she's here.

I try to pull my hand back but she falls on top of me. I guess I pulled to hard.

She gets up and smiles. She takes off her trench coat. I see she's loaded with weapons.

Yeah I'm scared. Alot.

Sevina- ill start with the small one.

She takes out a gun. She holds it up to me. And pulls the trigger. It missed but it was really close to being a straight.

Sevina- c'mon

She started to whisper.

Sevina- I can get you out of here!

She untied me. Then took me to the back door. I really hope Laura's okay. Wait LAURA. I need to save her.

Me- Sevina, I need to save my friend.

Sevina- okay lets go inside but first lets make a plan.

Laura's POV

I just heard a gun shot in the room next to me.

I cry my eyes out.

????- awe your friend just died.

I hear a nock on the door. The guy opens it to see that girl.

Sevina- it's done. I killed him.

Then I here me sniffling and crying.

????- good! Kill this one next.

He walks out the door leaving it open a bit. I heard him go up stairs and close the door.

Then Sevina opens the door to reveal Ross holding something behind his back.

Ross- you forgot this in the other room.

He gives her a small gun.

Me- Ross!

Ross- Laura!

He comes and hugs me. Then goes and untied me.

Sevina- wait be quiet! Shhhhhhh! He's gonna hear us. Okay phase 2!

She looked at Ross then he nodded.

We all started whispering.

Ross- okay Laura cover your ears.

Ross covered his ears as Sevina pulled out a gun then shot it at the wall to make the guy think that we killed me.

Sevina- okay come with me.

She took us out the window into the forest.

Me- why'd you save us?

Sevina- well I'm on your side. I never wanted to do this in the first place. The only reason I'm doing this is because he pays me and I need the money to pay for things like family.

Me- well that's a good reason but can't you just get a job?

Sevina- yeah but I never went to school.

Me- well you can always go to our school. Well how old are you?

Sevina- 16.

Me- what!! You look like your 18.

Ross- yeah I thought you were like almost 20.

Me- well I'm gonna call the cops on the guys.

I pull out my phone then dial 911. I told them the information.

Me- they'll be here as soon as they can.

A few minutes later they arrived at the house with guns.

Cop- FREEZE!

The guys inside the house walked outside with there hands up.

The police officers put the guys in hand cuffs them push them inside the car to take to jail.

Me and Ross hug then pulled back.

Ross- thanks Sevina for everything. We'll miss ya.

They hug and I join in.

Sevina- wait why are we saying goodbye? I'm gonna go to your school!

Me- but do you have enough money?

It's about $50 each.

Sevina- I have enough. Ill see you guys later:)

Me and Ross- bye!
