Chapter 37

Laura's POV

So Ross and I are now back together. I don't care what he says to me, true love never breaks. Unless he kills someone that I love. Then he crossed the line😂

I'm dead serious👿

But I don't think he'll do that. He loves me too much. And I love him.

Me- wait, if I was out for two months, then I missed Christmas? And your birthday?

I was in my room by myself sleeping. I was just whispering to myself.

Idea!!!

I got up quietly and got Ross' birthday present and left it in front of his rooms' door.

I also got all the Christmas gifts and put them under the Christmas tree since they still haven't taken it down yet.

I quickly went back then bed. I drifted into a dreamless sleep.

I wake up to a happy squeal that's obviously Rydel.

I'm guessing she's awake and saw that there's more things under the Christmas tree.

I put on my bunny slippers and walked downstairs and see her near the Christmas tree.

She saw me and smiled.

Rydel- Laura, you really didn't have to do this.

I reached the bottom of the stairs and walked over to her.

Me- but I did. And plus, what would I do with a bunch of presents in my closet?

Rydel laughed as I did too.

Rydel- well we all have something for you.

I picked up a small cup of coffee.

Everyone came out from the kitchen.

I smiled a huge smile.

But someone wasnt there.

It was Ross.

My smile faded.

Rydel- what's wrong Laura?

Me- where's Ross?

Rydel- um.. Guys do you know where he is?

They all shook their heads in a ' no '

Rydel- sorry, Laura.

I saw Ross. He was still in the kitchen at the table. I walked over to him.

I put a hand on his shoulder and watched him react as my cold touch reached his skin.

His head was down.

Me- hey.

Ross- ...

Me- what's wrong? Why weren't you out there?

Ross- ...

Me- Ross, why are you mad at me? Is there something I did? Then I'm sorry if I did something to hurt you but I don't recall anything--

Ross- Laura, it's just....

Me- what?

Ross- ...

Me- please.

It faded and I had sadness in my eyes almost tear jerking.

Me- please, Ross.

Ross- if I tell you you'll get mad.

Me- what happened.

I went in front of him and lifted his face.

As he lifted his face my eyes got bold. My face was in shock as I dropped the coffee mug.

It shattered across the floor into a million pieces with coffee crawling across the floor which making the floor drown.

I started shaking a bit of what I saw.

He had two black eyes, a busted lip and scratches along with bruises on only his face.

Apparently no one noticed about the coffee mug incident.

Me- w-what h-happend?

Ross- it was some guy. He brought me to a building and said if I didn't co-operate he'll kill you and I didn't want that to happen so I listened but I knew that it was over the line when I saw that the building was a-a..... Stripper club.

Me- its okay, Ross. Just continue.

Ross- there was girls everywhere. I told them to stop but they wouldn't listen.

Me- stop what?

Ross- they were giving me lap dances and grinding on me. I'm sorry Laura.

Me- for what? Trying to protect me? I know you love me Ross but, you sometimes have to protect yourself. Ill be alright.

Ross- so you're no mad at me?

Me- of course not!

Ross- good.

I gave him a little kiss on the lips and sat on his lap.

Ross- do you think we could go upstairs?

Away from my family?

I laugh as we go upstairs and lay on the bed. Cuddle up against each other.

My head on his shoulder and his arms around my waist.

Love is in the friggin' air.

A/N okay guys. I didn't want anything to get too dirty because its awkward writing about dirty stuff. Trust me I know. I've done it on a draft before but didnt like it so I deleted it. Hope you guys like.
