Chapter 15

Laura's POV

I can't believe this. Ross kissed Vanessa.

Me- how could he. We were so close and now....

I run downstairs to where Ross is.

I start to cry.

Me- how could you Ross? How could you kiss Vanessa?

Ross- what? What are you talking about? I didn't kiss Vanessa!

Me- why would my own sister lie to me, Ross? I can't believe you. You're such a jerk.

I ran back upstairs with Ross calling my name but didn't go back to him.

Vanessa- Laura, it's was just a joke.

Me- I know your just saying that to make me all better but I'm mad at Ross.

Vanessa- I was lying.

Me- how do I know that?

Vanessa- when I lie I fiddle with my fingers.

Me- well I didn't see you so I'm going to bed.

I ran upstairs and went to bed. I fell fast asleep.

Ross' POV

When did I kiss Vanessa?

I see Vanessa walk downstairs.

Vanessa- I'm so sorry.

Me- why'd you do this.

Vanessa- it's a joke. I told her that but she won't listen to me. It's up to you.

Me- what am I supposed to do? She won't listen or talk to me anymore.

Vanessa- do something romantic.

Me- after I just 'kissed you'

Vanessa- yep.

Me- maybe Laura just needs some time alone.

Vanessa- look Ross, I know Laura. If she gets mad at someone she'll hardly talk or come out of her room. Just to get away from that person.

Me- I'm gonna go home now. Ill think about what I should do.

I walk upstairs to get my things but then hear Laura crying.

I go up to her door.

Me- l-Laura?

Laura- go away, Ross!

I open it to see the mirror shattered across the floor and Laura crying in the corner of her room.

Me- I never really kissed Vanessa.

She was just telling you a joke. I had nothing to do with it until after it happened.

She looked up at me.

Laura- Ross. Are you telling the truth.

It was more of a statement then a question.

Me- yes Laura, I love you with all my heart. I would never cheat.

My phone vibrated from my pocket so I pick it up and see a text from Sevina.

Sevina: um Ross, meet me at the school. I need to tell you something.

Me- Laura, it's from Sevina.

She got up and walked over to me and read it.

Laura- Ross, don't go.

Me- why?

Laura- when you were downstairs I looked at Sevinas reputation. It's really horrible.

Me- let me see.

She pulled me into her room, closed the door and brought me over to her computer.

Laura- look.

My face went into shock.

Me- but she's nothing like that.

Laura- she using us for cover, Ross.

She's wanted in 3 different places.

Laura- I don't want you killed Ross. I still love you.

Me- I love you too. I'm not gonna go if that's what you want.

Laura- and why would she text you? It's 3:00am.

Me- no clue.

Laura- what should we do?

Me- tell someone.

Laura- I don't know.

Um...Ross! Look!

I look and see everything she says about herself is fake.

I picked up the phone and dialed 911.

Laura- tell them she's at SouthBrook High school.

I talked to them.

Me- they said there gonna check it out.

Laura- I'm tired. I'm gonna sleep now.

Me- night. Ill be in the other room.

Laura- no. Sleep here.

I lay on the bed and pull the covers over us. I wrap my arms around Laura and we fell fat asleep.
