This is definitely Arthur. And more importantly he is so close to remembering. He knows me, I know that he knows me. He just doesn't know that yet. I just want to tell him so badly but I fear that he wouldn't believe me and it could ruin everything. Really how would you tell somebody that you're immortal and they were alive 900 years ago and they were a king and you were their servant? No, that would probably be a very bad idea. We sit here for a few seconds in silence, while he looks confused. To break the silence I say,
"Well I don't know... Maybe we did meet. A long time ago and we just can't remember. But I must say I feel the same way. I'm sure we'll figure it out."
"Yes I'm sure we will. It's just... I feel like it's really important for some reason. Like it's just on the tip of my tongue but something's just holding it back," Arthur says.
"Well then, how about you think about it on your own. And we can meet up somewhere later this week. If we're going to be friends we might as well hang out some."
"I hardly even know you." Arthur replies.
"So you don't want to come over for dinner sometime? What a shame. I make some pretty good food."
"Alright, alright," he chuckles, "I must admit, being a Minister's son can be rather lonely. It would be nice to have normal friend."
"Who says I'm normal?" He laughs. I say,
"Okay when would you like to meet? How about a few days? Like Wednesday?"
"I believe Wednesday will work."
"Alright! So just come over around dinner time. I'll see you then." I say.
"Okay see you later," he gets up to leave. As he is about to run off he turns back.
"Merlin?" He asks, with a pondering look.
"Yes Arthur?" I answer. Oh please remember. He's so close.
"Umm- it's nothing. I'll see you on Wednesday."
"Yeah, see you on Wednesday," I reply cheerfully. Yet on the inside I still feel disappointed. He runs off on the path, and doesn't turn back again.
He's so close to knowing. But why can't he. What's holding him back? And also what's going on? If he's back there must be something seriously wrong about to happen. Then without warning, a vision of Morgana flashes into my mind. No, it can't be her. She's dead. I killed her. She can't be back I'm sure. Whatever is going on hopefully some more light will be shown on the situation on Wednesday.
