Fortunately, Dani didn't remember much of that night and she didn't let it get to her. She quickly adjusted to life in L.A. and after I brought her to work to meet some of my friends, Russell hired her to work in the mail room because he loved her so much and she wouldn't be bored in the house all day.

In the middle of August, though, she decided it was time to go back home. She would be starting college soon and it was time to go back home to pack. Alex and i saw her off at the airport, saying goodbye for the second time was ever harder than the first. Alex had been right she was like family now. At least I could look forward to our vacation. Just as promised Alex and I were head to New York to spend a week with his mother. "Do you really think she's going to like me? Is there anything I should know like anything I shouldn't do," I asked as I sat on my overstuffed suitcase so Alex could zip it up.

"Rey relax I promise she's going to love you."
