Prologue:
Yes, I am what people call a ballerina. I do twirl around in tights and a puffy skirt. But I'm not what one would call stuck up. I'm the opposite. I'm that girl that you see in the halls and smile at. I'm that girl that helps tutor students. I'm that girl that helps you if you drops your books in the hall. I'm that girl who helps everyone when they have a problem. I'm that girl that people think have no problems. I'm that girl that walks around with a smile on her face, but really behind that smile there's nothing but a broken girl.

Cassidy Marks has been a Ballerina since she could remember and is excellent at it. She does Ballet to feel free. Every time she is in that medium sized room full of mirrors with the beautiful classical music playing she has no care in the world. But when she leaves her ballet studio she is reminded by her conscious that she will never have a perfect life. No this isn't that story about the girl who meets a boy that will fix her broken heart. This is the story about a girl who has a unfixable broken heart and it all started with a group of friends.
