Chapter 24

Annika is about to fall off the ledge, when Jamal runs in and grabs her, catching her. Saving her.
"You saved me." Annika says to him.
Danya runs in. "Guys! That was hard on me! I don't run! Ooh, I see you guys are dating again!"
"No!" Annika pushes Jamal away. "Why would you kiss Sami?!"
"You said it yourself, 'WE. BROKE. UP.' " Jamal states. "So why do you give a crap, Annika?!"
"You're right." Annika looks away. "I don't care about you OR what you do."
"Ouch." Danya winces. "So, I'm gonna go..."
"Wait!" Annika says. "I know how to get across the chasm!"
She goes to the board on the wall and pushes it down to the ground.

At the Ball, Tyler and Hunter go to Tommy.
"We're not dumb." Tyler says. "Well, at least IM not. But we know you and Elayna like each other."
"So if you get her to dance with you, we'll pay you." Hunter says.
"You're on." Tommy goes to Elayna. "Wanna dance?"
"As if!" Elayna gags.
"Please. The last thing I want to do is regret not dancing with the most beautiful girl in here."
"You actually think that?" Elayna blushes.
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Okay, Tommy. I'd love to dance with you."
They start slow dancing.

"We need to walk across the board." Annika says.
"But how do we put it in position?!" Jamal asks. "It's WAY to heavy! It would take 5 men!"
"What about... 3 girls and 2 men? Well... Boys."Danya suggests.
"What are you saying?" Annika asks.
"I'm saying... this is a task for the whole Sibuna Gang. We need to involve Elayna and Tyler."
