CHAPTER 29
after a lot of struggle, nandini opened her eyes. she was feeling as if someone has put heavy metals on her eyelids which are preventing her to open her eyes. she felt it had been ages after she had waken up from sleep. but it was not only her eyes but also head which was feeling so much heavy. she holded the sides of her forehead and tried to get up several times but failed. after trying for sometime, she felt two strong arms giving her support and helping her to sit on the bed, she thought it was manik so didnt bother to look. she felt relaxed when she felt a pillow behind her and she was resting her head on it. she then turned to find manik but it was cabir

c=sorry, tum manik ko expect karrahithi but..woh..
he pointed towards the couch on the right side of hers, nandini saw her man sleeping there peacefully. he was still in the same clothes which he was wearing in the club. at first she was confused why he was sleeping on the couch but then realized she was covering more than half of the bed and thats why he was relaxing on the couch and may be fell asleep
c=yeh lo...lime soda. pee lo, tumhe aram milega
she took the glass and took a sip
n=mera saar, phat jaraha ha dard se
c=tumne pehli baar pee thi??
n=what?? cabir main drink nahi karti..
cabir chuckled hearing the reply. it meant she didnt remember anything

c=its 8.30 am in the morning. tum yeh peelo, manik abhi jag jayega woh tumhe sab bata dega
patting on her back cabir left the room.. nandini was feeling dizzy, everything around her seemed to be hazy ... she took a sip of the lime soda and was about to keep the glass on the bed side table but due to her dizziness she dropped the glass. hearing the sound manik opened his eyes and saw nandini sitting on the bed holding her forehead with an irritating look. he rushed to her and cupped her face
m=jaan are you okay?? tum theek ho nah??
he saw the broken glass on the floor and became more worried

n=manik kaal rat kya hua???
manik smiled and there was a pause in the room. nandini's eyes were popped open when manik narrated the whole story to her. she was feeling so much embaressed. she couldnt believe what she had done, first of all she was drunk badly, then she slapped the girl twice and took a class of her and finally she seduced manik in a drunk state. seeing her expression manik couldnt handle himself but gave a sweet peck on her lips
m=kuch bologi nahi???
she covered her face with her palm trying to hide her blush. manik gently moved her hands and made her look into his eyes

she said in her regular baby tone. manik pulled her in his lap and caressed her cheeks

n=kya kaha tha?? manik ma nasheme thi i seriously dont remember anything, tum boldo kya kaha tha mane??
he pulled her more closer and whispered in her ears

whenever manik calls her "jaan" she starts blushing. and hearing the fact she called him jaan in a drunk state, nandini had become more than a tomato. she hid her face in the crook of his neck. he could feel her blushing hard and so decided to tease her again later.
after a sweet-romantic discussion about last night, the love birds joined rest of the gang for breakfast in the garden table. nandini sat between mukti and manik.

n=please let me say and koi interrupt nahi karega. guys i know mane kal club me kuch zyada hi scene kiya tha and uski wajase tum sabko kafi embaress hui hogi but you wont say anything to me but still um sorry everyone. i know mujhe esa nahi karna chahiye tha but seriously um sorry
everybody was quiet. they exchanged looks to eachother. cabir got up from his chair and lightly hit nandini on her head

c=what for??? ek bhai ne apni behen ko mara for her stupid thinking , actually over thinking

a=and we were praising you, even we had noticed the girl being cozy with manik but tumhari wajase mukti ne koi reaction nahi diya

after breakfast they decided to visit the big ben, do a river cruise, walk on the London Bridge and have a ride on the London Eye. walking by the river holding manik's hand was surely one of the best things for nandini.
n=manik mujhe icecream khani ha
she said with a cute pout. it was a crowded place still he couldnt resist her cute pout and took the chance and pecked her lips

manik took cabir with him because he couldnt carry all the icecreams all alone. nandini was talking to mukti when her eyes fell on druv and alya. they were standing near the bridge and doing something. druv went to some other side to bring something. nandini went to alya

nandini saw the railing of the bridge was covered with padlocks.

manik and cabir came back with icecreams.manik was searching for nandini as there was everyone else except her.

alya pointed manik towards the bridge. manik asked alya to hold the icecream and he went to nandini.

nandini showed him a beautiful silver padlock in which she had engraved their names as MaNan

n=yes... Ma for Manik and Nan for Nandini... alya told me about the story behind this padlock thing. and mane socha

she locked the padlock safely and then gave the key to manik to throw it on the river after making a wish

both closed their eyes and made the same wish "Forever" & threw the key in the river. nandini had a huge smile on her face. seeing her lighten face he couldnt help but pull her in a bear hug. later they joined the gang again.
after visiting the places girls decided to go on shopping. though cabir and druv were not interested to go but as our Manik wont leave nandini alone even for a second because of him the boys had to accompany the girls. they shopped for about 3 long hours. at the end of the day when everybody returned home the girls seemed to be normal, dancing, jumping while the boys were tired, fed up carrying all those innumerable shopping bags. 3 of them excused everyone and went to their rooms for a short nap till the dinner time. the girls were laughing seeing their poor condition. it was 7 pm so the girls thought of sitting near the swimming pool till the boys takes a short nap

n=yaa, it was fun specially the way cabir sat on the floor in the shopping mall that was hillarious

FLASHBACK
manik was working late on his laptop sitting on the bed and nandini was eating a chocolate and staring at her boring husband

m=jaan bass almost done. 2 minutes
she made an angry pout and continued to eat her chococalte. after sometime manik finished his work switching his laptop off. he turned to nandini and saw her staring angrily at a magazine. he smiled and came close to her

nandini closed the magazine and gave him a fake smile
n=nahi nahi..someone toa bohot khush ha na, manik seriously tum kam ko lekar itna busy rehte ho aur kehte ho ke baby jab ayega time doge..tum theekse mujhe hi time nahi dete

nandini was smiling thinking the incident but her eyes were red and her cheeks were wet. mukti and alya hugged her

n=im okay guys.. pehle mujhe bura lagta tha but tumhe pata ha the way manik supported me, jo bhi usne kiya, khud rota ha but never fails to bring a smile on my face woh sab sochke i cant help but respect him even more. and sach kahu ab mujhe mujhme koi kami nazar nahi ati uski ekhi waja ha "Manik" and only manik.
