MaNan entered the mansion holding eachothers hand. raj was just going to office

manik and nandini looked at each other and blushed

nandini heard aashi's cry and rushed towards nyonika's room. mukti and nyonika were trying to control her when nandini came and took her into her arms. she kissed her fingers and aashi too stopped crying
mu=aashi ko bhi pata chal gaya ke uski mummy agayi hain
ny=yeh toa maa ka ehsaas ha jo har baccha samajh jata hain
manik came in the room and took aashi in his arms. he kissed her whole face madly and hugged her tightly
n=manik woh choti si bacchi hain, itna zorse pakroge toa use dard hoga

he made his grip a bit lighter.

manik was getting ready while nandini was playing with aashi and manik was enjoying his favourite scenario through the mirror. at that moment nandini's phone rang.
n=hello... accha, patient ko directly i.c.u mein admit kijiye main thorider me ati hu.
m=kya hua jaan?
n=manik woh ek immergency case aya hain. patient is serious, mujhe jaana hoga abhi
m=par aashi..
n=aashi ko maine dudh peela dia ha aur main jaldi wapas ajaungi tabtak mukti usse sambhallegi
manik didnt like the idea looking at aashi who was playing with a toy but still he agreed
m=theek ha but jaan, jaldi ajana cause u know hum dono mese kisi ekko aashi ke paas hona chahiye, she is used to of being with us and... main aj jaldi nahi asakta woh
n=manik main khud bhi janti hu and main jald ajaungi tum tension matlo aur apni meeting acchese handle karo theek hain?
manik smiled hearing her assurance. he kissed her temple and hugged her tightly before leaving for office.
Manik entered the office when his manager said that the meeting in delayed for half an hour. manik headed towards his cabin and sat on the chair for some relaxation. after a bliss full night with nandini, he didnt get proper sleep which caused him headache.
m=jaan ek cup coffee dena..
suddenly he realized he was in the office not at home. manik smiled watching nandini's photo on his desk. he took the photo frame and caressed it. a smile crept around his lips thinking about "Coffee"
FLASHBACK
it was around 3 am at night. manik turned around to nandini's side and put his hand on her but to his surprise she was not on the bed. manik sat on the bed with a jerk, he checked the bathroom and balcony but she wasnt there.
m=shit... kahi phirse woh kulfi khane ya icecream khane bahar to chali nahi gayi na..
manik grabbed the car keys and headed towards downstairs. he was going out of the house when he saw the lights of the kitchen was on. he sighed relief when he saw it was nandini who was looking for something in the fridge
m=jaan... tum phirse akeli chali ayi..kya dhund rahiho? mujhse kaha hota
she looked at him with an irritated look
m=kya hua?? itna udass kyu ho?
n=udas nahi main gussa hu manik..
m(to himself)=mood swings once again.. nandini ke ayippa help me please
m=but hua kya??? kyu gussa ho???
n=kyuki..mujhe kuch khaneko nahi milraha hain
manik became numb. he looked inside the fridge, there was a variety range of food such as, pizza, kheer, salad, icecream, noodles etc which were nandini's most wanted craving dishes during her pregnancy.
m=jaan, tumhe kuch khaneko nahi milraha ha?? fridge me itna sara khana rakha hain, infact yeh sab tumhare pasand ka hi ha jo tumhe chhaiye hota hain, waha rack par fruits hain, juice hai aur..
n=mujhe yeh sab nahi khana hain
she angrily went to the kitchen counter and was trying to sat on it. manik smirked as because of her irritation she wasnt asking him to make her sit on it. he himself went to her and made her sit on the counter. it was end of her 5th month and her mood swings and behaviour changed almost everyday.
m=accha bataw tumhe yeh sab nahi khana ha toa kya khana ha?
she began to think making cute faces which manik enjoyed a lot.
n=ummm...umm.. coffee
m=kya?? coffee at this time
n=yes.. mujhe na coffee khani hain. umm gari nahi, patli nahi..ekdam perfect coffee
she licked the corners of lips with her tongue imagining that perfect coffee
n=manik jaldi do na..
m=accha tum ruko, i'll make it for u
she nodded like a cute baby and manik gathered all the stuff to make coffee. after 10 minutes he presented a cup of coffee just the way she described. nandini took a sip but the very next moment her expression changed
m=kya hua accha nahi laga?? ese nahi chahiye thi tumhe??
n=umm.. manik.. mujhe coffee chahiye but ese nahi...
m=par tumne toa kaha ke tumhe..
n=haa..par abhi taste badal gaya ha..mujhe na. itna sugery nahi chahiye. without sugar chahiye
m=jaan seriously without sugar, ??? karwi lagegi and tum toa black coffee nahi peeti..
n=manik kitna sawal karte ho tum.. please do na..
m=accha accha wait.. main banata hu tum gussa mat karo.
once again manik made another cup of coffee hoping this time it would satisfy her craving but to his bad luck...
n=ccchhhiii...
m=ab kya hua???
n=yeh kitna ganda hain..ekdam karele ke jaisa karwa... yuckkk
m=maine kaha tha tumse par
n=tum daat kyu raheho???
manik had forgotten that now a days nandini didnt not like to hear "no" or any kind of scold. this would just raise her anger even more
m=daat nahi raha hu, main apni jaan ko daar sakta hu kya???
n=mujhe coffee chahiye..par yeh nahi.yeh ganda hain
m=accha okay. main lata hu phirse
poor manik made three four times coffee in different ways they were not able to satisfy her. she wanted something made of coffee but it had to be sweet, not too sugery, not to thick but light ... she also asked him to add some choco chunks in it.. but they had to melt inside her mouth as soon as she would eat it. manik was now very much tired but couldnt find anything which would make her happy. while manik was searching different type of coffee receipies on the internet for her suddenly nandini shouted

her eyes were twinkling and she was smiling

she showed him the wrapper of a chocolate named
m=eclairs???
n=yes... yeh coffee flavour ka hain, bahar ka layer coffee coated hain, and inside it is chocolaty which is light and also not too thick. ek bite letehi it just melts... yes !! mujhe yehi chahiye tha...
manik felt to bang his head on the wall but he had no option rather than to smile
m=ab maan bhar gaya na?? abhi sone chale??
she smiled cutely and went upstairs. he tucked her inside the blanket and kissed her forehead

n=ek baat kahu???
m=ek kya hazar baat kaho..
n=im sorry.

n=mujhe pata hain, meri mood swings aur cravings ke wajah se tumhe bohot pareshani hoti hain, main tumhe bohot trouble karti hu hana??? tumne meri lie ek ghantese kitni baar coffee banai aur maine kya kia...
m=ssshhh.
he put his finger on her lips
m=tum sorry mat bolo, and sach kahu mujhe accha lagta ha tumhare lie yeh sab karna.. cause tum jisse trouble dena kehrahihu, yeh sab karke i achieve the biggest goal of my life which is ur smile that contains my happiness.. so tum tension mat lo, im always there for u, har woh cheeze karunga which makes u and our baby happy
she was on top of the world. she holded his hand between hers and kissed it

FLASHBACK
he placed the photo back on its place and took a sip of his coffee which he had ordered. suddenly manik remembered that nandini had gone to the hospital
m=i hope nandini ghar pouch gayi ho..aashi ko adat nahi ha zyada time usse door rehneki.
he dialed her number but she didnt pick it so he called mukti
mu=ha bhai..
m=mukti nandini ghar agayi kya???
mu=nahi bhai.. woh toa abtak nahi ayi
m=accha, aur aashi theek ha?
mu=ha bhai ap kyu tension karraheho?? aashi is absolutely fine , aur abhi sorahihain mere samne hain

nandini returned home at night with an exhausted look.

n=ha mom.. sorry mom aj late hogayi kya ha na ke highway par ek accident hua bus ka and thats why bohot sare serious patients admit hue ha

nandini went upstairs and saw manik was playing with aashi and asshi was also smiling holding his finger.

nandini said keeping her bag and stuffs while manik didnt give any expession.
m=ha woh..aashi ko miss karraha tha toa kaam khatam karke agaya.

manik got up from the bed with aashi. nandini found his behaviour a bit different

mukti came there with coffee. manik took his coffee and along with aashi went to the study.

n=nahi kuch nahi..bass esehi laga mujhe
mu=nandu..tum zyada soch rahiho..bhai tired ha na thorese shayed isiliye dull dull hain

It was around 2 pm manik was still in the study. nandini put aashi in her cot and went to get manik. he could sense that she was coming towards him but didnt react. she encircled her hands around his neck and put her head on his shoulder

now she was sure he was thinking something, neither did he look at her, nor he talked to her in regular way.

he moved her hands from his shoulder and accidently it hit with the table lamp.

he got up from his chair and took her finger inside his mouth

Next morning
manik came home from jogging and sat in the living room.

nyonika smiled and sat beside him. manik rested his head on her lap.

m=umm nahi...woh.. actually i behaved a bit weird with her last night.

he sat up and sighed. his fingers running through his hair
m=mom.. i dont why mujhe kal esa feel kyu hua, matlab... for a moment i thought nandini was not taking care of aashi properly... i know she is a doctor but maine usse kal kaha tha ke jaldi ghar ajaye as aashi needs one of us beside her always and main...
manik looked at nyonika who was smiling

ny=aur nahi toa kya.. tujhe pata ha tere anese pehle main tere papa ke sath office jati thi. we used to work and spend time together, but jab tere aneki baat pata chali tere papa ne mujhse kaha tha ke nyonika, u need not to work anymore. tum sirf apna aur baby ka khayal rakho. unhe bhi yehi daar rehta tha ke kahi tujhe kuch ho na jaye, bohot mushkil ke baad jo tu humhe naseeb hua tha.. wasehi beta tere dil me bhi aashi ko lekar woh over protectiveness hain, jo galat nahi hain par tu agar nandini ke point se dekhega then tujhe koi problem nahi dikhai degi. yeh tu bhi janta hain manik ke nandini kitni responsible maa ha, bahu ha, beti hain, patni hain. in sab ke ilawa she is also a doctor, uski apne kaam, patients ke prati bhi responsibility hain. tu aur tere papa jaise apne kaam ko lekar koi compromise nahi karte beta waise uske lie bhi uska kaam utna hi important hain, right?? still she has always put you, aashi and us as her first priority. woh ek bohot acchi maa ha manik and u also know that. aur jaha tak sawal ha aashi ki then tu tension kyu leta hain, hum nahi ha kya?? dont we love her?? hum kya uska khayal nahi rakh sakte??
m=nahi mom.. nothing like that..
ny=dekh beta.. dont doubt on her duties , on her responsibilities. nandini janti hain ke usse kya karna chahiye. and kalki bat pakarle then she had called me after reaching hospital ke usse thora late hoga and her phone is going to be switched off as she is going for surgery. so itna soch mat tu samjha????
manik smiled as now he was feeling relieved. nyonika caressed his hair and kissed his temple

manik was observing nandini, her excitement because of CaVyas marriage. she was blablaring things they will do, what will they do.. what songs will be played on the sangeet, their dress colours will be matching and so on.. and manik was standing and watching her
