The next morning was very much special for everyone as it was HOLI !!. festival of colors, fun everywhere. manik was sleeping peacefully on his tummy, still dreaming of last night which was reflecting through his smile on his face. nandini carefully entered the room tip toeing with e plate full of red color which was manik's favourite. it was their second holi after their marriage. she stood infront of manik with the plate of colors and smiled
n=iss bar manik ko sabse pehle ma hi color lagaungi. last time holi nahi khel payi cause aashi mere pet me thi.. but this time, this time mr Malhotra is so gone
nandini took a fist full of color and was about to splash it on manik's face but before she could realize she was under him on the bed.

to her reply he sweetly touched her chubby cheeks with a bit of color

cabir stepped aside and druv and abhi splashed MaNan with a bucket full of water.

within some moment the backyard garden was filled with colors everywhere. loud music, thandai, colors, water everywhere. the boys were drinking like insane as if there was no tomorrow. nandini was not dancing that much as she had aashi in her arms, she had to keep in mind about aashi, as still now aashi used to drink her mothers milk.

it was nandinis fifth month on going. her moods swings were increasing day by day. A helpless manik was sitting outside the I.C.U .his eyes were red and swollen due to continuous crying. nyonika and raj were sitting beside him trying to get a grip of him

raj pulled manik in a hug and he started to cry like a helpless child. nyonika was rubbing his back trying to stop his tears.after sometime the doctor came out and said that nandini is alright and currently unconscious because of the injection. manik didnt let the doctor finish his words and rushed inside to look at her. nandini was sleeping peacefully. watching her once again on that hospital bed manik was shattered. he sat beside her and took her left hand between his hands. he kissed her hand and started to cry

his tears were not just stopping and his eyes were not moving from her face, he would not even blink his eyes until tears were dripping from his eyes.

Nandini lazily opened her eyes an the first thing which caught her eyes was manik's red swollen eyes with the brightest and biggest smile on his face. she was watching everything blurry but she felt his lips touched her temple.
nandini again closed her eyes. she was not able to open her eyes properly. after sometime she regained again consciousness and saw the doctor was checking her and manik was still there standing in a corner, letting the doctor do their work.
doctor=she is now okay.
m=thank u doctor? main usse ghar kab leke ja sakta hu??

nandini was quietly eating soup and stealing glances of manik who was sitting in front of her, on the couch and working on his laptop. since they returned from the hospital manik didnt talk to her for even once. she knew he was mad at her because of her stubborness. mukti and nyonika came to check nandini . nandini gestured them towards manik , nyonika knew that manik was mad

nyonika and nandini smiled watching manik playing holi to its fullest. he and cabir were drinking one by one glasses of bhang. the girls tried to drag nandini with them but she refused to join them and remained standing with aashi.
manik was having one by one glass in a go.

she palmed over his eyes and within sometime manik drifted into sleep. nandini admired him for sometime , stroking her hand in his hair.
manik opened his eyes with an irritating look. He was having a heaving hangover.

after a lot of convincing and explanation finally all dropped the idea of taking the date ahead. through out the whole dinner party nandini didnt say anything or talked to manik. she was sitting with the girls. manik knew she was angry and upset. while going back to home, they couldnt talk in the car as aashi was sleeping and mukti was accompying them. reaching malhotra mansion, nandini headed straight to her room. manik too followed her after sometime. he entered the room and saw her already changed into her night suit and was taking out his clothes. manik went to aashi who was sleeping

nandini looked at him through the mirror

nandini lied down on the bed and switched the lights off. manik smiled as he knew there was no use of talking to her right now rather he would talk to her the next day
manik was getting ready for office and nandini was cleaning the bed. manik was observing her since last night, she was not even looking at him for a minute. finally having enough of her silence he went to her
