Two days after the rodeo. (Sunday)
I woke up and fed the horses, two in total, and then fed myself. After cleaning myself up I wrote a note saying where I was going.
I headed out to the barn and grabbed Remi's bridle, put it on him, grab my helmet and hop on. I head out on the trail for a relaxing ride.
15 minutes later...
I see a horse a little ways off and I decide to catch up to the rider. I pull Remi from his gallop to a walk right next to this guy. When he turns around though I see he's not just some guy, it's Jakob!
Me: Hey Jakob!!
J: Howdy! Hows it goin?
Me: Fine! How bout you? Also what you doin round here?
J:Well I'm doin just fine and I live just down the road aways.
Me:That's cool.
For the next hour we get to know each other better.
M: Me( Cassidy )
J: Jak
J: so what's you family like?
M: well I live with my mom grandma little sister and aunt. My dads not really in the picture. And you?
J: I'm sorry bout your dad. I'm with my mom and dad little sister and grandparents.
J: mind me asking the story bout your dad?
M: not now but I'll definitely tell you. Tell me about your horses!
J: I've got the one here, Century, he's a roper.
M: I'm pretty sure your the roper and he's the roping horse...🙃😄
J: funny. But yes. What bout yours?
M: ok I've got my baby here Remi. We barrel race. Just sold my older barrel mare to my best friend. He takes good care of her.
J: that's nice. You still get to see her...
M: yeah it is.
J: what about school? I'm a jr.
M: same here. I go to Chico high.
J: me too!
M: that's awesome!!
J: maybe we can hang out at school.
M: yeah absolutely!
J: cool! Well I gotta get home.
M: same here.
We both turn around and laugh.
J: we both live this way?
M: guess so... I've gotta go now so I'm gonna gallop. If you wanna keep up you'd better start now. 😉😂
J: you underestimate me!
M: ok... Eat my dust!!!

We take off galloping. We arrive at his house first but he says he'll walk me home.
M: you don't have to do that.
J: I wanna make sure you get there safely. Also I can see where live so I'm not a stalker when I show up at your house!😂😉
M: fine
We get to my house. And say goodbye
M:bye thanks for walking me home.
J: no problem. 😊 bye
