As we all hung out in the courtyard near the Academy, I couldn't be happier.
The sun was climbing high in the sky, the breeze rustling the leaves and creating the calming melody. Everything was at peace. We were all happy.
Then, pain.
My chest ached, a split headache messing with my brain.
"Ida?"
"Ida!"
"Idaline!"
My body had collapsed to the ground, the pain unbearable. My eyes were closed tight. My body went numb.
"Ida, what's wrong?"
"Ida!"
"Wake up! Don't do this!"
"Idaline..."
Voices kept surrounding me in a jumbled mess. Sounds fading in and out of focus.
My fingertips tingled...
My head felt heavy...
The sounds hurt my ears...
And then...
My eyes opened.
