My heart dropped to my stomach, my hand shaking. He...he can't die. Tears streamed down my face; I sniffed, then swallowed.
"Uhm.." I said, barely a whisper.
The woman continued, "We put him on all of his meds, oxygen tubes, and life support, but we're almost positive he won't make it. Please come as soon as you possibly can."
That's when I dropped the phone and my heart dropped to my stomach. "I want to die." I said out loud, as more and more tears came streaming down my face..
"Hello? Hello?!" I heard a faint sound coming from the phone. I swallowed again before replying, "Yeah, yeah? I'm here...sorry...uhm...yeah, I'll be there right away." I replied, hanging up the phone and holding my stomach. I had the worst pain in it. I ran to the car and got it started very quickly. I finally arrived at the hospital in tears.
