The meeting about Loki went by in a blur. I didn't pay attention to anything. The soul mates thing was really getting in my mind. Is Thor and I really soul mates? This doesn't add up. I couldn't be Thor's soul mate unless I was an Asgardian. And yes I did research after the meeting in my room. Turns out, in Asgard, royals get a necklace that is supposed to connect to their soul mate, they just have to find them.
But I can't be Asgardian.
Wait, I was dropped off a door step when I was a baby. And I have had powers since I could remember. No. I might just be Asgardian. Well my parents would be Asgardian which would make me one. This all makes since now! But there is one question that has bothered me since I found out I was adopted at age seven. Who are my parents?
Then I remembered something. The note! There was a note left inside the basket I was found in. but no one could read it. Maybe if i asked Thor, it could be in Asgardian language and Thor could read it! It could reveal my true parentage!
I went to my closet to pull out a box, this box holds all my childhood memories. From first painting to award ribbons. One of the first things I put in the box was the note. Good thing I brought the box from home. Yes, I lived in a home with Dad. Did you really think I would live at S.H.I.E.L.D. since I was a baby? Well you guessed wrong.
I pull out the note and leave my room. I walk into the main room and find my Dad. I walk up to him.
"I think I might know a little more about my true parents." Dad looks at me with a wide eye. (See what I did there:P?!)
"Well who are they?"
"I don't know exactly but all I know is that the could be Asgardian."
"And how do you know that?"
"Well Thor looked at my necklace, he has the other piece of the charm. He took it and but his and my charm together, it glowed where the & meets. And the wording says: KASSADY & THOR SOUL MATES." I pause to see Dad's expression. It is mixed with happiness, confusion, shock, and slight anger. I continue. "I did some research and the only place that really does the soul mate necklaces thing is in Asgard. So I just came to the conclusion that I might be Asgardian. Plus I think Thor could be able to read the writing on the note that was found in the basket I was in."
"Well Kasey, I have one thing to say. You are getting fairly close to finding out your true parentage. And it is all thanks to Thor."
I smile at Dad. He smiles back. I turn and look out the huge window, to see the cloudy night sky. "You are fairly close to finding out your true parentage. And it is all thanks to Thor," kept repeating in my head. I am close to finding out my true parentage.
And is all thanks to my soul mate, Thor Odinson.
