Here you go, another chapter where not a lot happens. it will though I promise!

I am really tired and I only spelled checked this, but my eyes kept closing while writing, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few errors.

Thats me for another night, I am off to bed!

Once I had retrieved the music from DJ I headed back to my hotel room and practised. I was impressed by how well they fit me as a person; it was like the writer of the songs had stepped inside my head, walked around for a bit, then sat down and wrote my life on paper.

Around 6 I put everything away. I hadn’t heard from DJ or Nick, so presumed keeping the dinner date was fine. Like Nick had asked I put my new black bikini on underneath a black maxi dress that Janie had insisted I buy because “Everyone needs a maxi dress”. It was actually kind of a saviour to have, given warmth of the island.

Just before seven I headed out to the front of the Motel. Nick was already waiting for me. He wore Shorts, a t-shirt, a baseball cap and sun glasses. My eyes narrowed in his direction, he hardly needed to wear sun protection in the dimming night sky, which led me to believe that whatever he had planned was not the “private dinner” he’d told me about.

“Ready for our adventure?” He exclaimed as a large smug grin spread across his beautiful face. I knew then that our dinner was anything but.

“Nick… Please tell me you haven’t planned something that could get us in to trouble!” I pleaded

“Just relax, it’ll be fine. Besides, where we are going, no one would bat an eyelid twice about us being there together”

Nick led me to a shuttle and we hopped in, the driver started the engine and took off.

Feeling a little flustered and confused I sighed heavily.

“Is this a good time to tell you that I am not that big on surprises Nick?” I exclaimed folding my arms

“’I can tell. Look, if you promise to just let me surprise this once, I’ll never ever surprise you ever again.” Nick replied with an apologetic, yet hopeful tone.

“Well I have no choice; we’re already driving to wherever it is you’re taking me.”

“Great!” Nick said gleefully.

A short while later the shuttle pulled into a parking lot.

We hopped out of the car and began walking toward a pier. A boat was docked and there was a group of at least 15 others all lined up. We walked along the pier and Nick pulled out a couple of tickets from his pocket. He handed them to the staff member in a wetsuit waiting by the boat and we hopped on.

“Why was he wearing a wetsuit?” I asked frantically

“He’s one of the instructors I believe” a woman beside me said, she looked to be around 50, which should have put my mind at ease, but the mere mention of instructions worried me greatly.

“Instructors?” I groaned in reply, what the heck we were doing that needed instructing.

The woman looked over at Nick, who still wore the sunglasses and baseball cap and raised her eyebrows.

“Relax, we’re not doing anything terribly dangerous love, and besides, you have your big strong boyfriend to take care of you!”

I nodded warily and looked at Nick. He smiled back at me and shrugged.
