"I hate it here, why did we move to Australia."I told my mom one day after school on a Friday of all days. I dropped my school bag and threw myself on the couch.

"Dont keep acting that way and pouting. Ashton and his dad who I happen to be dating will be here in a few hours."she said. I rolled my eyes and groaned.

"I even hate him, hes a jerk at school. Him and his little buddies."I snapped.

"Luke, Calum and Michael?"she asked. I nodded and bit my lip.

"Luke is the only nice one but Ashton tells him to treat me the way the rest of them do. And the girls at school, they hate me even being here."I mumbled. She went back to the kitchen and started cooking.

"Ashton is supposed to be bringing Luke with him."she called. I groaned and went up to my room getting on my brand new laptop Ashton's dad had brought me when we moved here. I checked my phone and Ashton was calling me. I answered and closed my eyes.

"Ashton what do you want?"I asked.

"You told your mom Im a jerk to you at school."he said.

"I told her the truth, hate me all you want I dont care anymore."I mumbled. I heard him sigh and felt tears stinging at the edge of my eyes.

"I dont hate you Cass, I just dont want you getting bullied or hurt at school, I know how the people there are. My dad asked me and the guys to look out for you and maybe Im jealous of Luke liking you but I'll get over it."he replied. I wiped away my own tears and looked at my old Facebook photos and posts.

"He doesnt like me Ash, hes just nice."I mumbled.

"He likes you Cass, you'll see when we come with my dad later I promise."he said.

"Ok Ash, bye."I replied. He hung up and I went to go wash my face. I fixed my hair and joined my mom in the kitchen. I helped her fix the dinner she was preparing and straighten up the house. The doorbell rang and I bit my lip when she went to answer it. Ashton and Luke were standing outside with Ashton's dad. She let them in and Ashton smiled at me. Luke bit his lip and Ashton hugged me rubbing my back. I pulled away and looked at Luke. I gave him a small smile and his face lit up.

"She knows you like her dude, I told her."Ashton said. Luke pushed him and blushed. I led the guys to the den and found us a movie to watch. Ashton sat in the recliner and that left Luke sitting beside me on the loveseat. The movie started and I nudged Luke with my leg.

"Why do you like me?"I asked.

"You're cute and different and quiet and I love your laugh and smile and eyes."he replied before blushing. I leaned over on him and Ashton smiled over at us.

"Arent you dating that girl in our block class though?"I asked biting my lip.

"No, she wishes Luke would date her. Shes been all over him since she started school with us last year."Ashton told me.

"I want to date Cass."Luke said softly. I smiled and my mom came in the room a little while later with 3 plates of food. We ate and Ashton started texting Luke.

"Clum and Michael want us to come hang out with them in a hour dude."he said looking up. Luke bit his lip and licked his lip ring.

"Can Cass go with you?"his dad asked poking his head in the room. Ashton looked at me and I shook my head.

"I got some stuff I can do here."I replied. Luke pouted and I poked his dimple.

"Come with us Cass, there will be other girls there, ones that arent like the ones at school."Ashton said. I shook my head again and Luke closed his eyes.
