Today was the day. The day I would finally see Luke - The first time since we broke up. I was nervous as hell...but excited.
I took a deep breath as I step out of the limousine door. Photographers bombarded me with flashes and questions.
"Are you are Luke back together?"
"Is true you're going on tour with 5sos?"
"Have you heard about Luke's new girlfriend?"
The last one caught me off a bit, but surely it was a rumor. Things like that are said like that all the time. One time I even heard one that I had a love child with Johnny Depp. People are ridiculous.
I smile a waved a bit to the paparazzi and signed a few autographs for fans before heading into the venue. I was so ready to see him. I had dressed extremely hot tonight if I do say so myself. A tight navy dress with a deep cut v neck outlined in diamonds, one of my personal favorites...Silver stilettos and diamond earrings, to match. My long blonde hair was perfectly curled and I was ready for 'Get your ex back, step one'.
I saw a few people from the label that I knew, even Hey Violet was there. I stopped and spoke to Nia for a moment, she was so excited to be performing before both the boys and myself on tour in the upcoming year. After a bit of small talk I saw Ashton and walked over.
"Ash!!" I said as open my arms up for a hug.
His face lit up as he engulfed me in a hug and picked me up and twirled me around as he did. After he say me down he began to speak.
"Kaydence! I've missed you so much! It's so good to see you! I had no idea you were coming!"
"Yeah! Calum invited me! I'm so glad to see you! I haven't seen any of you since-"
I paused a bit before continuing. He spoke the same dreadful words "-the breakup" we said simultaneously.
"Yeah" he said looking down, but he quickly perked up and changed the subject. "Have you heard any of our new songs?"
" Yes! I heard 'She's Kinda Hot' and 'Jet Black Heart' as soon as they came on the Radio, they're amazing! I heard a few songs that came out today too! I haven't had a chance to listen to them all yet, but I have the album downloaded! Vapor & Castaway are my favorites! I also love San Francisco! I think it would be beautiful to hear live!"
"Thank you so much, Kay! It means so much hearing that from you!"
Then, Michael and Calum walked up, both giving me hugs.
"So good to see you Kadence! We've missed you so much!" Michael
"I've missed both of you as well!" I smiled
Calum winked at me, "I'm happy you came, Kay"
"Of course, you know I wouldn't miss it! So where's Luke?"
All three of their faces dropped. I knew something was up.
"Guys, what's going-" but before I could finish my sentence I knew exactly what they where talking out.
I saw Luke...with her.
