6 months later

I wobbled out of the doctors office. And by wobbled, I mean wobbled. Like a penguin. There's a watermelon in my shirt.

Jonathan's hand was on the small of my back as we walked though the parking lot. It was warming up outside, being May and all, so I was in a flowing maternity dress and sandals. Jonathan opened and closed the car door for me.

"Last checkup... ever." It just sunk in. The next update I'll have about this baby will be when it's in my arms.

"Wow," Jonathan marveled.

A pause of silence.

"I've been thinking..."

"What about?" Jonathan asked.

"I think since I'm so close to my due date, that we should wait until after the baby is born for the wedding."

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yeah..."

"Well, alright then."
