i never realized how like you i am
the moon only shows one side
as this winter's death
still rests on my skin
waiting for another sun
waiting to catch my breath
my teeth clenched
reciting silhouettes
abandoned clocks
as night creates the sky
with worlds on collision
do you remember me?

i thought you might.
