LXXVI

a dream we never want to wake up from
and a reality that we'll never have

these are the reasons to my writing
these are the words to my story
and if they don't provide any real meaning

you've not been listening closely enough

a dream is something we all have
but can never quite detail
a reality we'll never have is a dream
we must wake up from

they say the sign of an established writer
is one who describes the word
without actually using it

i guess that just means
this is just some sleep
we've been missing out on,
i guess what i really want
to say is

my wanting to sleep forever is because of you.
