In The Spotlight// Prince Harry

Chapter Three

As Harry walked along to Nottingham Cottage he couldn't help but think how perfect everything has been with Rose.  He wanted to do something fun though.  Something he hadn't done in a while.  He knew that he would have to talk to his granny about it first to make sure there were no prior engagements that he had to be at.  

Knocking on the door to William and Kate's house, it opened revealing his older brother.  Giving him a cheeky grin and a quick hug he walked in with William following behind.  Making their way into the living room they take a seat.  

"Are you thinking about going on a holiday this year?"  William asks his younger brother.

"Yes, I am.  I was actually going to speak to granny about that after I met up with you."

"Are you planning on asking Rose to go with you?"  William asks with one eyebrow raised.  

"Definitely.  Are you and Kate thinking of any holiday plans?"

"Were thinking about France this year.  It will be nice to just get away.  Does this holiday include partying?"

"What granny doesn't know won't hurt her," Harry retorted back.

William wasn't so sure.  He knew that their granny knew about Harry's partying ways, she was no fool.  Especially when their life was in the press.  It seemed like the press loved to take pictures of the Royal family especially when they messed up.  Kate was out taking a walk and it was nice just being able to spend some time with his brother.  They hadn't been able to really do that since William and Kate got married last year.  

Since then the paparazzi haven't left the Royal family alone it seemed like.  They weren't sure how they felt about that either.  It has been no secret that the two boys have despised the paparazzi ever since their mother's death.  They couldn't help but feel that if the paparazzi chased her that she would still be alive to this day.

They knew they shouldn't think about the what-if's as it only caused more harm than good, but at times they couldn't help it.  

After spending a couple of hours at his brothers place he made it round to the Queen's office.  Knocking a couple of times before he's allowed to enter he kisses his granny on the cheek and embraces her in a half-way hug.  

"Hello Harry, what can I do for you today?"

"Well, I was thinking of taking some time-off the next few weeks?"

She narrows her eyes at him trying to see where he's getting at.  

"Where are you thinking?"

"Las Vegas."

"And are you thinking of taking Rose with you?"  The Queen asks.  Harry clears his throat.

"I am actually.  I was going to ask her later today."  The Queen nods her head as she takes all of this in. 

"Okay.  Just make sure no one catches you two together until you both are ready to come out to the public.  That would be quite unfortunate."

"Thanks granny."

After kissing his grandmother's cheek and leaving her office he leaves to go call his girlfriend, Rose.  Since he knew she didn't have a lot of clients in right then he phoned her as he walked through the halls.  

Rose agreed and he couldn't be happier.  Although, she was a little worried about how they would actually get to spend time together.  It was times like these that she wished they could be dating out in the public.

Back at Vera Wang, Rose was hanging up some bridal gowns exhausted from a long day of work.  All she wanted to do was cuddle with her boyfriend.  She let out a sigh blowing a piece of loose blonde hair that fell in front of her face.  It was an hour before closing and her feet were hurting her so badly from wearing high heels all day that she just wanted a nice hot bath.  

Minutes ticked by on the clock and she could feel herself growing tired.  

Finally it was closing time so she turned the sign over to close and shut the lights off after she grabbed the keys to lock up and her purse.  

Arriving home she took a hot bath after taking off all of her makeup, got into her cozy pajamas and went to bed with dreams of her vacation with Harry.  She couldn't wait for it after taking some time off from work.

I'll try to make the next chapter longer, it will hopefully be more exciting!

Harry and Rose are going to Vegas!  Whose excited?!  You know that saying what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?  Well. . . Not when your apart of the Royal family!
