Your skin tells a story.

My skin use to be as clear as a blank piece of paper, as soft as fresh fallen snow and as clean as a brand new bar of soap.

But now, it's battered and bruised.

It's taken beatings inside and out, never to be the same again.

I use to glance at my clean face, messed up hair and scraped elbows in the mirror and skip on out the door to play outside,

Now I spend hours in front of the mirror, trying to cover up what I was born with, I tried to hide myself under a layer of chemicals.

I look my body over in the mirror and see all the changes, a million disgusting thoughts zooming around in my head.

I see the pimples, the scars and the weird marks that I don't even know what they are but I hate them.

I cover them up when I go to school. Only noticing the people who are covered up in a inch of coverup powder and creams.

They look happy.

But let's take a step back, you see the girl over there, yes that one, she's not wearing makeup.

And her clothes aren't store bought.

But look at her face, you see the unfamiliar grin on her face, something you haven't felt in a while.

Now watch her, she's in her little group, laughing and talking, obsessing over whatever they are into.

Now look over at the people you admire, the ones who have everything.

It's a big group, but look they all have their noses in their phones, or their hands in the air trying to tell some latest drama. Or their fidgeting in their tight clothes.

But look at their faces, you'll see some frowning, and some look genuinely happy.

Now look back over to he people you ignore in the hallways, the ones with the weird clothes and weird hair styles

Maybe their sitting by the vending machine, on the ground, ew who would do that right?

But they look happy.

Being here at school with their friends, wearing either no makeup or their own style of makeup.

Wearing lazy clothes or their own costumes they created.

And they all looked happy, although by the looks of it, they look like they've been hurt, maybe something a home, or maybe it's you,

Yup, maybe you don't verbally say something, but your stares and glares hurt a lot.

They know their not accepted, and most have gotten over that and feel free to express themselves however they want.

But it still hurts,

Now stop.

Right where you are.

Look around at all the groups and clusters of people

You got the hunters who always wear camo,

You got the computer geeks, always talking about some new game,

The fashionista, wearing the craziest outfits,

The popularly usually with nice phones and brand clothing,

The normals. Who just wear normal clothes and do normal things, and have friends in every group,

The loners, who always ear alone, and always look sad, constantly reading a book and doing homework,

The smokers, probably passing around some drug or drink. Trying to keep it hidden from the principals and teachers,

The skateboarders, with dark clothing, the same hairstyle and probably have some sort of skateboarding gear on,

Etc.

Etc.

Etc.

Where do you want to belong?

Where do you think you belong?

Where do you belong?

Wherever that may be, make sure your happy and proud to belong there.

Don't diss on your friends and don't talk smack about others,

I myself, is a person who talks to anyone who talks to me, I have friends from all over, and that makes things great.

This kind of people, those who can just task to whoever and make of seem like you never stopped talking, are the best,

Becuase they know, that in order to be happy that need to make others feel welcome and happy as well, and that is how you make friends,

Yes, friends don't just come to you, sometimes it starts with the simple 'Can I borrow your eraser?' 'Do you think you did good on the test?' 'Is your coffee good? I don't know what to order.' ''I really like your shoes today, where did you get them?' 'Thats a really good book, have you ever read (blah random book name)' sorry, didn't mean to bump into you, my bad.'

Just a simple comment and/or compliment can strike up a life long best friend relationship,

But makes sure whatever you say I at offensive, because then oh man you got yourself an enemy.

Plus it feels good when someone compliments you.

So why not return the favor?

If your not making someone else's life better, your wasting your time.-Will Smith
