Looking to Derek, I nod my head before pulling the barn door open, allowing Derek in, me not far behind along with the swat team covering us. It was completely dark in the barn, but I caught sight of the completely blood covered mattress.
"Oh my god." I breathed.
"FBI!" A sudden voice yelled and we all turned to see JJ with her gun up, her hair a mess and clothes too.
"JJ!"
"Don't Move!" She yelled again, and I could see her hands were shaking.
"JJ, it's Morgan, Prentiss and Pierce. Don't shoot." Derek said, walking up to her as she lowered her gun. "Are you hurt?"
"Tobias Henkel is the unsub." JJ said.
"Yeah, we know."
"I'm calling an ambulance." The Sheriff says to me.
"Yeah." I randomly answer, half listening to what he said before he leaves the barn.
"We just thought he was a witness. I had to kill them." She rambled, knowing she was on about the dogs.
"JJ where's Ried?" Derek asked. That's when my eyes snapped up and scanned the room, realising he wasn't with her.
"They just completely tore her apart. There's nothing even left-"
"JJ, look at me. Look at me." Emily commanded, waiting til she turned and met eyes with her. "Where's Ried?"
"I-I..."
"JJ," I begged as she turned to face me. "Where's Spencer?"
"W-we split up. He said he was going to go in the back." JJ explained and Derek ran out the house as worry started to fill me.
"Let's get you to the ambulance." Emily said as she helped JJ out the barn, me not far behind. "You okay? Did the dogs get you anywhere?"
"No, no. I'm fine." She said just as we handed her over to the paramedics and the Sheriff walked over.
"Hey, is there any sign of him yet?" I heard Emily ask as I comforted Jj and held her shaking hands.
"We got every one of our units on the road. He won't make it far." He explained, glancing at us before heading back inside.
"You can't find Reid?" JJ asked and Emily sighed, shaking her head and looking back at the house.
"Not yet."
"Prentiss!" Derek yelled as he walked over, pulling her to the side away from us, though I could still hear them. "I think Reid followed him into the cornfield. It looks like somebody got dragged."
"Hey," JJ said, placing her hand gently on my shoulder. "Are you okay?"
"Why are people acting like I'm not here. I want to know what happened as much as the rest of you."
"Because you may let your emotions get in the way. It may ruin your way of thinking."
"If anything it'll help me be more determined to find him." I stated, turning around and heading into the house.

"Guys! Guys get in here!" Derek yelled, making me drop my papers onto the table and run into the computer room. Though I was last in, I pushed round to stand next to JJ, only to gasp in horror at what was on the scream.
"Spencer..."
"He's been beaten." Emily said, looking just as worried as everyone else.
"Can't you track him?" JJ asks.
"Henkel only streaming this to his home computer." Penelope sighs in frustration.
"This is for us. He knows we're here." Jason looks at the screens, waiting to see what happens next.
"I'm gonna put this guys head on a stick." Derek growled, turning and facing away.
"Why can you locate him?" Aaron asked.
"He's retorting to a different I.P. address every 30 seconds. I can't track him."
"But isn't there some way to know when he's gonna track through next? Or, or have a quicker way to track him in 30 seconds-"
"Can you really see inside men's minds?" A voice interrupted, making me shut up. "See these vermin? Choose one to die. I'll let you choose one to live." Tobias said, half his body shown on camera.
"No."
"I thought you wanted to be some kind of savior."
"You're a sadist and a psychotic break. You won't... stop killing. Your word's... not true."
"The other heathens are watching." Tobias says, and Reid glances down the camera lens. "Choose a sinner to die, and I'll say the name and address of the person to be saved."
"I won't get choose who gets slaughtered and have you... leave their remains behind like a poacher." Suddenly he runs forwards and lifts him out his chair, making me cover my mouth in shock.
"Can you really see into my mind, boy? Can you see I'm not a liar?! Choose one to die, and save a life. Otherwise, they're all dead."
"Oh Spencer..." I mumble under my breath, fear going through me.
"All right, I'll choose who lives."
"They're all the same."
He takes a moment, probably looking at the screens before saying, "Far right screen."
"Marilyn david, 4913 walnut creek road."
"You got that?" I ask, watching Penelope type it in.
"Yeah." When a number appears on screen, Jason calls it waiting for the person to pick up.
"Marilyn david, my name is Jason Gideon. I'm with the F. B. I. You need to close your laptop screen right now and leave your house. Someone is watching you and may come to hurt you."
"Raphael." Spencer's voice is heard and we all glance up to the screen just before the picture goes away. Without saying a word, I push my way out of the room behind Derek who punched the door as he left, heading to the back of the house on the porch. Taking deep breaths, I lift my hands up to see them shaking, from the horror of what he could be doing to Spencer. I lean myself against the railing, using my folded arms to support me. Not long after I saw someone join next to me, but I didn't bother to look towards them.
"We'll find him. He'll be okay." Jason reassured me, though it didn't really help.
"But he isn't okay. He's been beaten and god knows what else."
"Do you know why I let you and Reid carry on dating even though it was against protocol rules?" He sprung up, making me turn to look at him.
"No, not really. I just assumed you felt bad if you made us stop." He chuckled at my answer, before turning around to lean his back against the railing, arms folded.
"I let you continue dating because I knew you'd both act professional while at work. You wouldn't let your love for each other cloud your judgement on cases and you'd both act like you always have." He explained, turning to look down at me. "I need you to be like that right now. Act like it's another case, don't let it being Reid cloud your judgement." I nodded, understand fully what he wants.
"I'll do my best."
"Good. Now come with me and Hotch, we've got a call from Raphael's chosen victims."

"Slaughtered, same as the others. We've got roadblocks for a 15-mile radius. Every unit's on the road. But so far nothing." The Sheriff explained as we walked into the room, blood covering the couch and floor.
"I don't know how much longer Reid can hold out." Aaron tried to whisper to Jason as I looked around the room, but I still heard him.
"Who were the victims?"
"Pam and mike hayes. He was a local defense attorney." Sheriff told us.
"And what bible passage was left?"
"Isaiah 59." I looked up and saw him hand it over to Aaron, who proceeded to read it out.
"No one calls for justice, no one pleads their case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies they conceive trouble and give birth to evil."
"Reid, if you're watching, you're not respensible for this, you understand me?" My head snapped up and I saw Jason sitting in front of the computer, a camera set up on top. He'd left it on. "He's perverting god to justify murder. You are stronger than him. He cannot break you." He finished before standing up and walking back over to Aaron. But before he spoke he caught eyes with me before nodding to the computer allowing me to go.
"Spencer." I sighed, sitting down in the chair. "God I hope you can hear me. I'm going to find you okay? Me and the team. I'll come and get you back okay? But you've just got to hold on for me a little longer. Can you do that for me Spenc?"
"Agent Pierce." I heard Aaron call.
"I have to go. But I'll find you. Just hold on for me." I smiled at the camera before standing up and leaving the room.

"Penelope?" I called, walking into the room full of computers. "I need you to-" but I froze, my eyes fixed on the screen. Tobias, or whoever he was right now, was punching Reid and whispering in his ear. Blood was oozing down his face and he looked to be in so much pain. "Penelope?"
"Noo..." I heard him wheeze out, before Tobias threw his chair back, throwing him to the ground. But then he started to have a fit, and my whole body went weak.
"Spencer!" I yelled, dropping the papers in my hand. "No, please!"
"Get her out of here!" Jason yelled and I felt someone try to hold me back.
"No! God no! Please! Spencer!" I sobbed, trying weakly to get out of the persons hold, which I now realised is Aaron. "Oh my god..."
"Look at me Amber." I was still shaking and sobbing, but weakly looked up at Aaron's face. I knew he was trying to figure out what to say, but instead he just pulled me into a hug, allowing me to cry in his shoulder.
"I know."
"Guys." I heard and I feel Aaron look up to whoever spoke, and what they say brings so much relief that any person has ever heard. "Reid's alive."
"What?"
"Tobias brought him back. The videos still live." I leaned back off Aaron and quickly stood up, whipping my face as I quickly walked back to the room. When I entered I gave a sad laugh seeing him back up in his chair, but it wasn't over yet.

"F.B.I.!" I yelled as me and the others barged into the house, quickly scanning around but to see no one.
"Clear."
"Clear." I groaned, turning to face the others. "Oh! What's that smell?" I questioned, looking around to see fish skinned lying on top of the cooker.
"That's nasty." Derek said, covering his noise too. "Lets spread out. They have to be on foot."
"Lets go!" Everyone left the house and we went round back, spreading out to cover more ground. I tried to keep my breathing steady as I looked around, shinning my torch to see. But suddenly a gun shot was heard, and my heart nearly dropped.
"Reid!" Aaron yelled, but I ran forwards, not waiting for everyone behind me.
"Amber!" Someone called but as I ran down the slope I saw him, kneeling over a body, Tobias' body.
"Spencer." I chocked out and started running over to him. He leaned back and looked up, a smile forming on his face.
"Amber." I sighed as I fell to my knees and grabbed onto him for dear life, pulling him close to my body.
"Oh my god, Spencer..."
"Amber." He repeated, burying his head into the crook of my neck.
"Don't you ever do that to me again. You understand?"
"Yes. I'm so sorry."
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
"Reid. You alright?" We heard Aaron say and we pulled back, before I helped Spencer stand up.
"I knew you'd understand." He said as he pulled Aaron into a hug. Aaron smiled at me before pulling back, suddenly JJ pulling him into another hug.
"I'm so sorry."
"It's all right. It wasn't your fault." Spencer reassured her before she let go of him.
"Let's get you out of here." Jason said, him and I putting one of Spencer's arms each over my shoulders, me wrapping one of mine round his waist as I we helped he back to the house and cars. Once we got there, we helped him into the back of the black cars, and I sat inside with him. When the door was closed, I grabbed his face and pulled him into a heavy but soft kiss, showing just how much I loved him.
"I love you." I whispered, looking into his eyes. He just smiled down at me, holding my cheek in his hand.
"I love you too." Before he pulled me into another soft kiss.
