"Mrs Hudson?!" I called, walking into the hall from the street.
"Oh dear! Something's wrong with him!" She fussed, emerging from her flat door flapping her hands about.
"He usually is, it's nothing to text me worried about."
"Oh no! He's not right. I found him tied up on the kitchen floor! And he's destroying my flat!" Looking up from taking my gloves off, I could see in her face that she was completely scared and worried, which made me start to worry too.
"I'm sure it's nothing. I'll go up to check on him." I assured, giving her shoulder a gentle squeeze before heading up the stairs. Deciding against yelling his name, I grabbed hold of the door handle and threw it open, shock clear on my face at the state of the room in front of me. Balls of paper where thrown everywhere around on the floor, objects that consisted of pillows and books thrown at the walls and in the centre of it all was a distressed looking Sherlock, his hair in a complete mess along with his usually neat clothes.
"Sherlock," I questioned, looking around even more to see more things across the room. "What happened?"
"Shut up Y/n, I need to think! I almost have it!" He yelled, ruffling his hair as he tried to write on another piece of paper. "Argh!" He yelled, scrunching the paper up and throwing it away towards me. I bent down and picked it up, unravelling it to see half an equation written down, along with about what I assume is 5 or so answers scribbled out. "What's this for?"
"I can't do it Y/n. I have it clear in my mind but when I go to write it out it just vanishes and I can't finish it!" He yelled, throwing the pen across the room as he scratched at his neck. "I can't even deduce you, I can't deduce anyone anymore." I slowly walked over to him, kneeling down in front of his distressed form before gently grabbing his wrist to remove his hand from his neck. Calmly, I lightly ran my finger over his neck while he tried to write with his other hand, feeling a small bump on his neck. Looking, I saw a small puncture in the skin and looked around, seeing the kitchen window wide open and the tea and coffee tins knocked over.
"Sherlock," I stated. "Did someone come in and attack you?"
"I can't remember." He whined, sinking to the floor curling up into a ball. "I can't remember anything."
"It's okay Sherlock." I tried to reassure, giving his shoulder a small squeeze. "We'll figure this out, just like we always do."
"I can't do anything Y/n, I'm just like you guys." I knew not to take it personally as Sherlock was use to being smarter than anyone else, plus he doesn't have a filter when he speaks.
"It's okay Sherlock. If you were drugged it should wear off in a few hours."
"But what if it doesn't? What if I'm-"
"William Holmes stop it. We will figure this out. Whether it be we wait for it to wear off or we get Molly to do some tests on your blood. But for now," I stood up and helped Sherlock to his feet. "Your going to rest. Get some sleep, and relax from stress."
"My mind is to active to be able to sleep. I am a-"
"Sherlock..." I warned, smiling at him as I dumped him on the bed.
"Y/n..." He started, but him snoring brought a smile to my face. Poor Sherlock, for once you were wrong. Chuckling to myself, I pulled the cover over him as I left his room to clean up the remainder of the flat.
