it's 10pm and I'm watching a YouTube video when my phone starts buzzing. I look to see who it is and it's a random number. I answer anyways.

"hello?" I ask.

"um hey novella" a familiar voice sounds through the speaker.

"oh uh hey Zach... what's up?" I ask awkwardly.

"um so I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a date with me tomorrow night?" he stutters.

"uh yeah that would be great, what time?" I smile.

"I'll pick you up at 8."

"okay, night zach."

"night novella." he whispers before the line cuts out.

i'm going on a date with a boy I thought hated me tomorrow. let's see how this goes. I thought to myself before I drifted off to sleep.

long time no see... I watched zach's broadcast of him reading fanfics today and it made me miss writing so imma continue this book :) I appreciate the support and amount of reads I've gotten these past months so I will make it up to you by finishing this story. don't worry it won't end anytime soon but it's gonna get better. love y'all!
