My darkest fears have been slain,
Yet I feel this wrenching pain.

My mind is free of haunting sorrows,
Although,I still doubt in tomorrow.

I wish to leave my mark in the sands of time,
But first I need to sort out this conflict of mine.

And every time I hear you lie,
An innocent angel falls from the sky.

You only want the best of me.
The worst in me,you don't wish to see.

Darling,here's something to remember me by;
For you I won't weep,you're not worth the tears I'd cry.

Like the Phoenix I shall rise;
Despite the ashes I shall thrive.
