Best Story Arc 5

So yeah this post is completely with regards to Tartoros arc. I loved the arc for the most part.

There were 4 reasons why this arc was amazing

1. Mard Geer

The underworld king was by farvthe best villian of the whole series. Sorry Jellal you no longer have the top spot. I mean he has got the looks not an over flashy villian. He is also smart. Watch him and you will know why I like him so much. He might even be my favorite character.

I mean just look at him. He has that charm. I mean his english voice is just soooo..... 

(SPOILER ALERT)

2. Silver's Death

These scenes were beautifully animated but this part is kinda cruel as well.

I think Mashima just hates Gray. He keeps making Gray feel guilty. He makes people sacrifice themselves for him or kills people who mean a lot to him. I mean first Ur. When he almost got over it, Ultear's sacrifice happens.

PS: I shipped Gray x Ultear too before Mashima mercilessly took her off the picture

Then he finds out that his father who died when he was child, hus body is being controlled by a demon from Tartoros. He wants his son to free him from the drvil's control. To ask your son to kill you, just how much will you make Gray suffer?

3. Igneel's death

This one is really sad. I cried when this happened. I mean Natsu was looking for him for all these years and just when he is finally reunited with his father Mashima just decides to kill him off right in front of Natsu's eyes. C.R.U.E.L

4. Wendy's Character developement

Wendy is by far the only character who Mashima has given proper development to. She started as a weak character who grew stronger both mentally and physically little by little after each battle. She is just amazing. I loved her short hair in the arc.

1. Mirajane vs Seilah (could've been better if it was a longer fight. Mira deserves so much better)

3. Natsu vs Mushroom guy
4. Sting and Rouge vs sabertooth master
5. Lissana& elfman +others vs bunny girl

Bullshit Fights (Must Ignore)

1. Lucy vs Jackal
2. Celestial Spirit King vs Mard Geer
2. Erza vs Kyoka in etherios form

b. When the story doesn't make sense. Mashima should really remember what he writes

1. The Strauss siblings joining FT and the curious case of Lissana's guild mark.

2. Gray's family being introduced

Note: Natsu's reaction when he couldn't make it in time to save Erza and Mira from being kidnapped. Loved it
